Lucas leiva player of the season for lazio second season running.
Congrats to one of my favorite players.
Wish another good season for him and then maybe we could get him back in a coaching role.
Not many like him these days.

Not sure about the coaching role but I agree with your sentiments. Lucas was one of my favourite players and I was gutted when he left. Played with a smile on his face and would play in any position he was asked to.

Love me some Lucas Leiva. Him coming back as a coach would be nice. Or even coming back as a backup goalkeeper this summer! :D.

Glad to see him getting some recognition over there! Thought he was a decent player for us but not sure he'd fit into the current playing style, guessing the pace of Italian footie is probably better for him these days!

I loved him. Not at all surprised that he has picked up player of the season for lazio.
Kinda feel a bit for him that he missed out on our European glory. Some were given medals who had never kicked a ball for liverpool in a real game. He always gave his all for us. A bit like kyut, 110%.

I remember verdo1. Footballs a funny old game eh. People were saying the same things about milner, matip, even firmino. That they're flops. But each has been brilliant this year.
Didnt lucas come as an attacking mid? Maybe that's why it took so long for him to bed into the team. He was brilliant in the holding role. A bit like hendo this season, when he was brought on as a sub, it felt safe, i knew he was reliable. Loved him, still love him. Should have played more for brazil.
