One player that still divides opinion is Dejan Lovren. He has found himself down the pecking order with the emergence of Gomez and the upturn in form from Joel Matip.

Would you keep or sell him this summer?

YNWA! 🔴.

for the price quoted I would cash in, while he still has some value left.

Defo keep for me. Big player in the dressing room, big game player. I remember how quiet he kept ronaldo when we played madrid last year.

That said, if he wants to leave then i would not stand in his way. He has been an excellent servant to the club, scored some big goals. If he feels he needs to move on for the sake of his career then he should be allowed to. The interest from milan shows that he is an appreciated cb in world football. But yeah, id rather keep him.

Yup. I would keep him too. Where are you going to find a replacement for 25 Million today with his experience, knowledge of LFC and the way we play? Anyone else with similar experience in the EPL would cost 40 Million plus; just look around at the values being quoted. However, if his heart is set on leaving, then we shouldn't stand in the way.

I would be happy to see him stay as you will not find many 4th choice CB’s better than him. He still has a lot to offer on and off the field.
But with that said if he wanted to leave I would like to think the club wouldn’t stand in his way as I am sure a decent replacement could be found. Also if the prices quoted are correct then it might be to good to turn down as we wouldn’t be getting close to £25mil for him if we keep him another year or two.

Sell for me mate.

For all the costs of selling, finding a similar quality replacement, agents fees, risk the new player doesn’t settle etc. I’d rather keep him. I’d like to see Gomez settle as a starter, Matip as backup and so Lovren isn’t the biggest priority to replace at this time.

I’d say sell. He was injured a lot and if we are offered a good deal, cash in. We could buy someone younger and more reliable. With lovren he can be crap or good, I’d rather someone that will just put a good showing when needed.

I'd love to keep him if he wants to stay, and when he retires I want him to go work in Dan Agger's tattoo shop.

I'd keep him unless we have a good young replacement lined up. He's only 29 and on his day I'd still have him above Matip. Injuries were the reason Matip rose through the ranks.

Very tough question. Good player, when fit and ahead of Matip. Hard to get someone of his level as a back up player but he does struggle with injuries. Keep him and fingers crossed he stays healthy but it might all be irrelevant if he really wants to go.

Just in! New craze hits Liverpool fans. Contradicting yourself within 2 sentences. Everyone’s at it. If your not then it’s rime to start unless you don’t want to fit in.

This is not even a close call. KEEP HIM. Why? Where in the world will you find FOUR CB's in one team, each of which have either played or started a CL final (VVD has started two CL finals) and each of whom could start for at least three of the top 6 teams in England and heaven knows how many pother top teams in Europe? NOWHWERE, that's where.

Ed01 always complains that there aren't any great CB's in world football anymore and LFC actually have 4 more than capable CB's and we want to sell one of them? No way for me. Also, it's not like we need the money and Lovs is loved by Klopp and the rest of his team mates so what's the need to sell him exactly? You keep all your best players if you can. Now if Lovs wants to leave then fine, we should grant him his wish. And if Lovs wants to stay and end his contract here at LFC then I am more than happy to keep him.

I like Dejan but there’s no way he is above Matip in the pecking order. I’d say keep him if he’s happy with a bit part role but if he wants to find first team football he’ll get that at a West Ham/ Southampton/ Everton kind of level so let him go.

{Ed025's Note - dont be trying to palm him off on us BP!, hes as much use as a chocolate fire guard mate and should not be playing top flight football anywhere..

Red wolf, that’s not really a fair assessment, I could start for arsenal at the back, and united too.
