Ed2 - hello! Something I've been wondering about and hoping you can assist with (might very well not be the place for it - will totally understand if that's the case. )
I am a former Israeli and noticed you mentioned going to Israel a lot lately.
In my humble opinion, Israeli football is (and has been) in a mess for a while now with countries like Northern Ireland, Albania and Iceland living us well and truly behind.
Israeli footballers (Benni aside) are generally also pretty lazy (at least by reputation) which cannot help matters - but the issues are far greater than just that.
If you will, I hope that you have some insight into how the recent changes introduced (Austrian management team) might affect the future fir Israeli football for better or worse?
Are they on the right track?
As usual, huge thanks for anything you could add!

{Ed002's Note - There have been a number of decent players (Tal Ben Haim is still playing as is Ben Sahar) but they don't have enough to pick a good national side from. The change of coach will not really help.}

Are you in Israel on RA business Ed002, if you don’t mind me asking?
Israel is a bit out of the way otherwise unless you’re covering Middle East politics or are Jewish?
Just being a nosey parker 😀.

{Ed002's Note - None of those. But business.}

Yeah I think it is a cultural thing unfortunately and seems to be getting worse.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to answer.

Actually, while I am here (and only if you are feeling terribly charitable. ) - Manor Salomon.
Second coming or Meh?

{Ed002's Note - I can't help sorry. The pick of the crop right now is seen as Munas Dabbur.}

Former Israeli? Did you relinquish your nationality or you're a spy who switched sides?
