Looks like a very boring transfer market for Liverpool. we will be getting barely no1 while other teams strengthen.

Well I guess Ox is like a new signing and if Keita becomes the Keita of RB Leipzig we have a real sense of optimism going into the new season.

Wow. There's still months to go and almost no one else in the league has made any moves yet, talk about crying over spilt milk.

Sorry Tommy T but give ya head a wobble pal. You’re the reason the Ed’s get so frustrated on here with inane posts like yours. Most teams will have to strengthen because they were so far off us and City last season so it’s inevitable. Doesn’t mean they will gel and win the league instantly. Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea are all in periods of transition. Trust in our team and manager. If we
Make one signing then this is enough for me as that’s clearly all they think is needed.

Don’t really think any milk has even been spilt yet. Chill Winston!

@IronDan Talk about not knowing how to use the phrase "crying over spilt milk"

! in the had is worth 2 in the bush after all!

I think he meant crying over shooting a row of ducks in a barrel.

And yeah Tommy T. you need to chill mate. The main thing is keeping this team together, but we will sign some players and have an even stronger squad. City will lose some players that they'll need to replace. There are two major international tournaments coming up and two months of the transfer window left. Trust our recruitment team, they've done great work lately.

You're right klucas87, I meant to have said making a mountain out of a mole hill. I meant to suggest he was massively blowing this out of proportion.

Careful IronDan, too many proverbs spoil the broth (or something to that effect)

Didn't realise the transfer window closed this week.

Spurs got to the CL final without making a signing, so guess what our squad could do? Saying that, I expect a few signings at least and it's so early atm, when you think the Nations League has only just finished and Euro qualifications going on, let alone the players on their hols!

well, playing devil's advocate a bit, we needed to break world record transfer fees in successive seasons to get us where we are. so, in that respect there is a bit of a trend in terms of how we have added key pieces to the squad. SO I get the angst of some.
