I think this is the first year as a Liverpool fan where I genuinely do not care if we sign any players . Our squad has good depth to it and we should be promoting the youth to fill the gaps in the squad.
The only thing I feel we need is a versatile forward as if one of the front 3 get injured we have a big drop down in quality .
For full back I think we have plenty of cover with gomez able to play on the right or left and young Lewis looking like he could do a job if he stepped up.

I know what you mean, weird isn’t it? What I would say is that moment you think you’re as good as you can be is the moment you get complacent. We must improve, especially after just winning a massive trophy because every player needs to continue to fight for the upward curve. People who stand still get left behind (honestly haven’t looked for a single one of these lines. Man, I should write inspirational quotes or something) . Also, as good as we were in the league, we still finished second.

{Ed002's Note - How do you come up with such embarrassing things to say?}

I don't rate Gomez as a rb so I do think we need a specialist to back Trent up. Would be great to find a player who could play in a few positions to cover other areas as well. A player (if he exists) who could play both full back positions would be ideal.

I agree with the 'im not so bothered who we sign'. However we do need to buy some quality for the squad as we are competing with Mancity and we were lucky with no major injuries to front three.

My wishlist would include a full back (left if not versatile), a mobile forward and a number 10.

GK replacement if migs leaves ofcourse.

I do think we need a rb and a lb to cover those positions, especially with Moreno leaving, it tells me we'll definitely be bringing in a new Lb but overall I agree with you mate, our team is incredible and I don't have any complaints.

I don't think we need to splash the cash and go daft in this window. Next summer? Probably, because after another season I'd imagine one of the front three and Milner leaving, we'd have to replace them accordingly and in todays world it'd involve spending a lot of money but this window? nah, we're fine.

Youngsters will disagree with you and I mind, they aren't happy unless we're spending 100's of millions lol but it can't always be like that.

We have a lot more games next season now and of ya get a run in the F. A or league cup well there more games then last season again we need a big competitive squad

Cover for left full right full across the front 3 keeper if kings leaves.

Just need a versatile full back as cover and a wide forward/ CAM to cover or provide competition for our front 3 and Ox. Anything more would be overkill imo.
David Marshall, Sessegnon (cover for Robbo, Mane and Salah) and Fekir (competition for Bobby and Ox) would do the trick for me.

RIWW, agree with your post for the most part. For rotation options for front 3, I am not sure if we can/ should get much better options than Shaqiri, Origi, Ox, Lallana and Brewster. Of course I would be excited about a new player coming in, but not sure if we really need one.

I just spend my time trawling social media sites looking for life affirming beauty Ed. It’s all on there, I promise. I just upcycle the drab into the fab. See, there I go again.

Everyone else will strengthen. City will. So must we to keep up simple.

OP, we need more options at FB, GK and an extra forward who can cover all three spots in the front three so you have to care if we sign players or not cos lack of cover in those areas, hurt us in Jan/ Feb when there were injuries to our backline which forced midfielders to play in the defence which in turn, hut our ability to be flexible in midfield. Just my opinion, mate.

I think we need to add quality. We are in a strong position and that's the best time to strengthen. With moreno and sturridge leaving i think we need a lb and a playmaker. I wouldn't be surprised if a new cf comes in too as imo origi is way more effective on that lw.

I agree with the notion of not being bothered who we sign because quite frankly I trust the club, 99% of their signings in the last few years have been spot on. Who’d have thought a relegated midfielder and left back would prove so brilliant? I think we need a couple players to freshen up the squad and improve Klopps options, but how many and who- I have faith in the club to get right.

I just don't see the need for it . We will have the ox back now who can cover out wide and Brewster and origi up front .
Again in midfield ox being back and keita coming into form and looking the player we all thought he would be is enough creativity for me.
With the lb position why not give youth a shot and see how they cut it . If the worst happened and robbo gets injured we have milner that can fill in.
I just really think the club needs to start giving more of the youngsters a chance before splashing money in the transfer market .
Modern day fans all want the big marquee signings but for me for once in my life as a Liverpool fan believe we don't need anyone.

We don't need midfielders. Maybe an AM. We need lb cover now, that's obvious. We can't go into the season with only 1 senior lb. If young lewis is good enough (which i don't know, haven't seen him play) then yeah that's fine.

We need forwards and i DO trust gomez at rb.

Youngsters can only be given chances if they're deemed worthy as opposed to forcing the issue. Klopp backed Trent to break through which he has justified of course. If he's not giving certain youngsters a chance there's a reason. Lewis would be an ideal breakthrough but I wonder if he's ready. No sign of him yet around the first team, I presume pre season will get a chance. Klopp has never looked at loaning out Trent in the past, Brewster not being considered for loan, Woodburn early on was kept around the first team. The players like ejaria, ojo, Kent Wilson he has hardly kept in the squad and will be surplus. Interesting to see who is kept and loaned this year. If Lewis isn't put on loan he will surely be wanted to make some step up this year. Curtis Jones may be needing games and Camacho moved on. Williams and Hoever in defence and Duncan and glatzel up top the younger batch shouldn't be expecting to be called on. Would loan be suitable for them or continue with our reserve sides? Asides from Brewster I also felt Camacho could make the mark possibly. Shame that he won't be staying, could develop into a good attacker and still so young. I'd offer him to Lisbon his hometown in a desperate attempt to lure fernandes to us. I'm sure they'd want him.
