What a big game player Origi has turned out to be! Although his Liverpool career seemed to be drawing to an end, he has come in when called upon and delivered. He scored a big goal in the derby, he was the main man in our demolition of Barcelona which got us to the Champions League final, and again he came up with the goods against Spurs in the Champions League final. So my questions is: A £50m offer comes in for him, take it or leave it?

Leave it. He's one of our own now. He keeps playing like this and he might actually make a case to be in our best XI.

£50m? I'd take it, his build up play isn't good enough to break into the first 11. But I don't see an offer like that coming in and he's a proven option off the bench. Great lad who's written himself into the Liverpool history books.

No he stays. If he'll accept coming off the bench then he should stay. He's not reached his full potential yet, he's still very young. This season will boost his self confidence, and we know that's everything in football. He knows the club and the playing systems inside and out.

I would take 30.
Thanks for all that he did (and is) but that is roundabout his worth.
My opinion.

We must keep him at all costs, this lad can be something special, look at what he's done for us this year, he's got to start more games next season for me.

He could be our super sub for years, I’d only sell him if he asked to go.

Agrred salah.

I posted somewhere that i reckon if (in a weird world where bobby wasnt so instrumental in our play) origi played all the time, would get 20+ a season.

He won't be sold. He f######g won us the champions league at anfild against messi and co.

I would sell him he has done great for us but we will never get anything like what we would get for him this summer. And I think Bobby starts and Brewster will play more than him next year. then his price will just go down we have got to build on what we have done this season. We did not do that after 2005. City keep getting better and we have to do the same. No way would he get us 20+ league goals a season and he will never be a bobby type player. And am sure at his age he does not won't to be a 15 minute impact player.
Would love to hear ed001 thoughts on keeping him and the other eds as an outside look.

{Ed001's Note - keep him if he wants to stay, someone who can score vital goals off the bench is invaluable.}

Origi is a FREAKING legend at LFC. Who in their right mind sells a legend? NO WAY! Origi stays and that's it, IMO. To me, the kid has a lot to learn and for me his BIGGEST asset, is that he NEVER panics in front of goal. The guy has ice in his veins and has the composure in front of goal of a dare I say, Robbie Fowler. Fowler never panicked in front of goal and Origi has that trait, one that is HUGE in the development of ANY young CF.

Bang on redwolf.

And he doesn't just play cf so isn't going to hinder brewster so much. Origi os brilliant coming off that left side.

It was a bad game but origis first touch and finish were sublime. A goal worthy of winning the European Cup.

Goal against Everton comes to mind, the kid has done his fare share to stick around unless he wants otherwise.

Origi is a confidence player. When his confidence is up he’s so much better. Remember him before Funes Mori assaulted him? He was first choice cf and scoring for fun!
That injury set him back and he lost confidence. You could see it in his body language.
Only now is he getting back to that player but unfortunately for him the rest of the team have improved massively all around him since then.
I’d keep him if he want to stay but let him go with our best wishes if he wants to pursue more game time.

Are you joking?

I cannot believe what I’m reading. He’s just won us a champions league and people are discussing (even hypothetically) about selling him?!

No words.

The man should have a statue built. Would be welcome at the club forever as long as he wishes.

Too right navy Keith. Why would he want to lose?
