How do you rate Sane as a player?
For me, he’s absolutely top quality, and I’d be more than thrilled to see Pep make a huge error in judgment and sell him to Bayern.

{Ed001's Note - potentially he is top quality, but right now he is just very fast and lacking in end product. I don't see why you would be thrilled for them to offload someone with attitude problems causing issues though.}

Ed01, I thought Sane had a very good season in 17/ 18 BUT I admit that he was quite average this season due to maybe attitude issues or the fact that he thinks he should be starting a lot more games. I noticed this season that Sane had issues timing his runs hence, he would often get caught off-side.

Also, I think he got found out for just being super fast but knowing he really can't hurt you in terms of end product so teams would just defend against him differently by making him go on the outside than allow him to come in side and look for the one-two. What do you think, Ed01? Cheers, mate.

{Ed001's Note - that is exactly it, teams just dropped off and stopped him attacking behind them and he has no idea what to do then.}

I think his end product is alright 👍.

Yeah remember when we played them and Trent was after struggling in a couple of games before and the build up was all about sane ripping Trent apart. Every attack city looked to get the ball to his wing, he had so much possession but Trent was focused and just let him have it and stood him up every time, sane only was ever able to try knock the ball past him and sprint but Trent could match his pace every time.

He's a good winger in his own way but I don't think he suits city at this time, he's not aware enough to drop into little pockets around the box, with quick passes between spaces and interchangeable positions with the silvas or de bruyne.

He'd be best off going to bayern and be a proper wide player that suits their set up.
