Have I got this right, both us and Tottenham will be allowed 12 subs each for the UCL final?

{Ed002's Note - On the bench yes, but obvious only 3/4 can be used.}

Sorry Ed, do you mean three-quarters can be used or that three/ four can be used? Also, what's the reason for increasing the number?

{Ed002's Note - Three can be used during normal time and a fouth during extra time. It changed at the start of this season.}

Oh, nice one, Ed. Thanks. Is this new subs rule for this UCL final alone or will it be something that will be implemented on a wider scale next season in European comps.? Cheers, man.

{Ed002's Note - The fourth sub will be available to be used where there are UEFA games that can go in to extra time. The 12 subs will initially be the finals and the super cup.}

Yes you can only use three quarters of a sub, we’re going to bring most of James Milner on after 60 mins.

3/ 4 of James milner would probably still do a solid job to be fair.
