Interesting read up Ed thank you as ever mat. Typical Kane would be fit to face us, there much stronger when he plays.

{Ed001's Note - only might be fit enough.}

Cheers Ed001, tying Skriniar down to a four year contract is big for Inter Milan. Really impressive defender.

England have quite the emerging squad, nice balance to it. Only position that seems to fall a little short are the keepers (In more ways then one in Pickford's case) .

{Ed001's Note - welcome mate.}

Kane certainly won't be match fit. But very very dangerous from the bench.

Wow Ruben Loftus-Cheek doing his achilles in a charity game in the US before a European Final. Whoever's responsible for scheduling that must be popular in South West London right around now. It just seems bizarre, Liverpool's players aren't even allowed to take long-haul flights. I'm all for raising money for charity but this has resulted in the worst case scenario for Chelsea and RLC (who i think would've started) .

Morning Ed001 great read. Lad's Benny showed me results of when HK was out injured and when he was playing and believe it or not the results were far better when he was OUT honestly.

{Ed001's Note - afternoon Bazza glad you enjoyed.}

Spurs are better without Kane, hope he plays.

Firmane, why would you hope a striker as lethal as Kane plays against us?
The argument that Spurs are a better team without him is a statistical one only. The teams they have mostly beaten without Kane would likely have been wins regardless.
Kane on the pitch makes Spurs are FAR more dangerous opponent than they otherwise would be, not to mention it gives them less of an ability to change things up.
If Kane isn’t there, who do Spurs turn to when Son and Lucas Moura get absolutely handled by VVD?

Harry Kane scores goals but that doesn’t necessarily translate to winning games. He will take a shot at any given opportunity but sometimes reduces Spurs chances of winning because the better option would be to pass. If he plays against us it will be his first match in over two months so there will be ring-rust. On current form id be happy if Kane takes Mouras place in the side.

I hope Kane plays because they build their attack around him, except he will barely be match fit when that happens. I think spurs are more dangerous playing without him currently as they are far more unpredictable. Obviously Kane at his best would be an issue but he won’t be.

If Poch starts Kane, it will be a HUGE mistake for the reasons already given by the lads on this thread. A CL final is NOT the place for players to come back in after being two months pout with damaged ankle ligaments and he will be physically unfit and lack match sharpness. I don't think he is that daft tho BUT then again, he has made some bone-head decisions before.

{Ed025's Note - the thing is red wolf is that he is the talisman who would give the team a massive lift, he is a quality player and the liverpool defence would have to watch him very carefully and that may give more room to the likes of moura or son, just a thought mate..

Ed25, Kane is a brilliant footballer and in fact, he has improved his overall game this past season compared to previous seasons. I also fully agree that he is their talisman and would give them a huge lift should he be on the pitch, the same way a Bobbie would should he start for us.

Having said that, there are no secrets in football at this level. Kane will be unfit to play such a massive game with the intensity that LFC will be coming with. His lack of match sharpness and fitness will show, no doubt cos that is what always happens. Either way, Klopp and the boys will prepare for ALL scenarios so not too bothered if he does play or not.

{Ed025's Note - i see kane as their only hope of giving liverpool a game redwolf, you are probably right about him not starting the game though which will be a shame for the neutrals but happy days for the reds mate..
