ed001 Its not straight into the first team players we need, its players that are going to fight for the first team. And not be a massive drop in quality when they do come in. And the good thing now is any player signing does not have to be rushed into the first team, Like Fabinho last season given time to get use to the way we play. Now Leeds have not made it up am hoping Milner stays and I don't think full backs are so important now my be Adam Lewis could move up and we have plenty of cover at right back with Gomez Milner and Fabinho. With Brewster moving up think that is all ready going to be a massive step up from what Sturridge now offers when he played. So Ed001 as you said yesterday 3/ 4 new players who would be the players you would like.

Sorry Ed but what player's did you mention please.

{Ed001's Note - I didn't, there are no outstanding candidates really. Though I would go for Mazraoui (sp?) the Ajax right back for that position. Goalkeepers are difficult as it is a back up position. I have not seen any left backs to recommend and I have said Brandt for the forward positions.}

I would definitely go for wan bassaka if he would come then great then if not your sugestion ed 01 as he is a top player in the making
for left back adam lewis to be promoted but if not then van Aanholt who i feel would be a cheap but decent back up for Robbo
goalkeeper would be a promotion and new contract for a youngster we currently have show them you want them adnd tell them all cups league and fa are yours and you will get chances in first team when needed
Finally there are only two contenders I think for the job of replacing the front three when injured or even coming into the team altogether
brandt or Bergwijn from PSV
but if we only sign one player this season then please let it be Kai Havertz this boy is Veira mark 2
he has the potential to be the new Gerrard and is already better then Gerrard at the same age.
