Cheers Ed001 interesting profile, has one on Mourinho been done? he's made for an interesting pundit.

{Ed001's Note - not yet, I will add his name to the list. Though it is a surprisingly short list so not sure if two names constitutes a list or not?}

Can you add Howard Kendall to the list if possible Ed?

I'm too young to know much about him but I've heard he was a legend at Everton.

{Ed001's Note - I certainly can, lovely man Mr Kendall. Really, genuinely nice.}

Love your reviews Tris, always balanced and fair but not lacking in reason.

One thing I would ask. Could you put the profiles on a white background like the Daily roundups and the match reports? Us with poor eyesight struggle with white text on a dark background a little and I end up having to copy the text to somewhere else.

Cheers mate.

Also. what's your prediction for the final? Kidding! Have a good one!

{Ed033's Note - yes ok

Thanks for the profile Ed001, and you're so right. I remember clearly how he was called a genius in his first stints at Ajax, Barcelona and the Netherlands. People compared him to the great Rinus Michels. But he never got along with Johan Cruyff and those two often butted heads. By the time he reached Bayern you could feel he was behind the times. And the rest is well documented history. You're also right that he was riding on the coattails of those who came before him (most probably) . In the same way that people speak of Guardiola at Barcelona (after Rijkaard) and at Bayern (after Heynckes) .

{Ed001's Note - it would be nice to see how Pep would get on without limitless funds and over an extended period.}

Cheers Ed, been offline the last week or so, but caught that, good read as always, I also never realised he had such an exotic name!

{Ed001's Note - nor had I until I did this.}
