Sounds about right. Start off anew with a clean slate. But go up further. Start with Woodward and then OGS and then go down to the players. 😎.

I think most of these United posts have the same underlying answer: spend loads of money to fix it. You's have been ploughing in tons of money for seasons and it hasn't worked. Cohesion, so that you sign the right players, for the right positions, would be a way to begin to turn your slump around. From an outsider looking in it looks like you've set yourselves back further by giving Solskjaer a long term contract - probably sacking him as soon as it is feasible and finding the right manager would also help.

It's now 6 years since Ferguson retired and it seems like every year is "we need to ship out a load of the players and get a load more in". Consistency is the key, a few additions across the team each year, building the quality of the first team whilst not seeking a whole new identity every summer.

Man City don't sign 5 or 6 first team players every year, Liverpool don't, the big European teams certainly don't, not anymore anyway. And it's because it doesn't work.

When I look at United I see 2 major problems, Pogba and Sanchez. Pogba has a stinking attitude and Sanchez being on so much money will just put everyone's noise out of joint.

I'd get rid of those 2 for whatever you can get for them and replace them with 2 or 3 players that will be a marked improvement on what you have.

There's no point trying to get 6 or 7 players in this summer, it won't work and United will just slip further back.
