Well played Spurs but seriously Ajax did what lots thought they would do, they let the tension get to them, they couldn't cope with llorente with de ligt not being the strongest and daley blind not the biggest, any experienced cb partnership would have snuffed that out asap, im zero worried and i for one hope kane plays, they're quicker without him.
Bring it on.

Not only that, but Spurs' only avenue back into that game was high balls to Llorente. Can't imagine VVD letting him out muscle him. If Kane plays they slow down their attack, if Llorente plays the high ball tactic shouldn't work.

Yep I'm not worried. I know its a cup final but we've beaten them twice this season and there's a reason there's 24 points difference between us.

{Ed0333's Note - it’s a one off game mate anything can happen. They really do have the ability to turn it on out of nowhere.

VVD wins every high ball until he loses one. and he does lose them. so hopefully it isn't in the final and if it is hopefully it's not punished with a goal!

They are a decent side Spurs, we struggled with them at Anfield.
They will turn up and it will be great final.
Come on you reds.

I agree Ed0333, Spurs can be dangerous, but so can Ajax, and actually psychologically I've decided Spurs are the weaker team. I wanted a Liverpool Vs Ajax European Cup Final. But, Spurs? Okay!
We'll dominate them in every department. If they score one we'll score three.
They have dangerous forwards, but their defense, 'keeper, midfield are all far inferior to ours. We'll be fine.

So, just Champion's League Winners and Premier League Runners Up?
Oh well. I guess there could be worse clubs to be a fan of. YNWA!

{Ed0333's Note - Mate I cant see Harry Kane lifting the CL trophy on June 1st. I don’t think I’d psychologically recover from that.

Spot on, Ed. Anything can happen in a final so we should be ready for whatever comes thru in it. The good thing is that in contrast with last season's final, we have a better team, better depth in the squad, better players in KEY areas and most of all, we have a manager who himself, has improved. That bodes well for us going into the final in Madrid. Does that guarantee victory? No. Does it enhance our chances? IMO, Yes.

{Ed0333's Note - I will not breathe easy until Hendo is lifting up that trophy on June 1sr as I’ve said previously Spurs have the ability to turn it on. They are confident and have some players that are really in the mood currently. Am I cautious? Yes...Am I fearful? If I’m honest yes I am, but I seek solace in the fact if we play our best and they play theirs there is only one winner and that is the beautiful game.
