Should we miss out despite amassing 97 points we cannot be anything but proud of the efforts of the team. To put it into context we actually will have bettered City's results against the 18 other teams in the league but effectively lost out in a head to head battle with City. A 2-1 aggregate loss may be the difference. If it comes down to that we just have to hold our hands up and accept they deserved it.

Saying all that here's to a 1-1 draw with Brighton last game and the Ox fires a last minute winner against Wolves!

Cheers.

If it comes down to that then you have to say City have deserved it.

City would have won 18 out of their last 19 games, if they do that then they deserve it.

Big if Ron, they won't do it.

Very hard now Salah mate, I had more hopes on teams like spurs Burnley and Leicester. Brighton aren't good attacking or defending, city w/ their quality and knowing what is at stake? Can't see them slipping 😕.

Spot on, Ron. If you win all but one of your games in the second half of a season then bravo to you. Having said that and as Salah said, City still have to go win that Brighton game and judging how panicked they were vs LC and had Kompany not scored a near worldie, they don't win that game and in fact, they lose it in the back end, IMO cos LC played a blinder of a game. We shall see.

Is Salah Ron in disguise?

Irrepressible optimism like Ron always had - but seems to have a bit less these days.

I am wishing for a miracle at Brighton on Sunday, but it's probably wishful thinking.

Remember, we need 3 points too!

Also, I hope the atmosphere tonight is absolutely electric, and our fans don't really believe we will win, and be less vocal.

I will be screaming my tonsils out at Anfield.

Kopitef I know mate, I agree it isn't looking good but I just really think City will drop points. Right now, all we can do is hope. What a season though, my god what a season. I'm going to be so proud when I see us lifting the trophy. :) believe.

Sorry salah mate, can’t follow you on this one for once, i think Leicester were our last real chance, it’s not about believing at this point, I want to, but they are just a machine with teams too frightened to play them. They’ll nervously ask questions until eventually something will give and they’ll creep over the line. It’s extraordinary what’s happened between both clubs, because had any of the teams trying for cl football played with any semblance of their ability, I sincerely doubt the league would be looking as impressive as it is for either of us. I’ve never seen so many teams do everything to screw themselves up and unfortunately city will likely reap the benefits. I’m not bitter and I’m not applauding failure but I’m also not arrogant to expect things because of our great history. I’m genuinely delighted we’ve had the season we’ve had and look forward to competing under klopp the next few years, regardless of who goes or stays. For the first time in a quarter of a century we aren’t rebuilding. We’ve bought impressively (especially in this insane market) have a young enough team, and look to be doing business (a little) better off the field. For now, I’ll hope for something on the last day but that’s about as far as I can go.

Let's hope you're right the Salah mate. Praying for that 🙏.
