It’s mental, I’ve been in the pub for both city and Liverpool games and people literally celebrate city scoring like it’s their own team. I’ve never seen so my distaste towards a club that has absolutely nothing to do with them in terms of rivalry, people just despise Liverpool. City scraping results just makes things worse, we can’t catch a break it seems. We’re not supposed to win the premier league I don’t think, if we’re to get 97 points and not win what more can you say really. Heartbreaking.

Try living next door to a Man Utd fan from London who’s never been to Manchester. Fortunately I don’t have to watch the city games as his cheers keep me informed of the score.

Ah man I know the feeling, my neighbours are united fans from London as well and they used to be Chelsea fans, no idea how that worked out but yeah makes sense when you support rubbish like that.

I'm afraid no one but our fans wants this Kman. Will make it all the more sweet when it happens. We will do the same next year, City have a core of players that are 33, 34 now and will not go the whole of next year without niggles and missing games. We will mount another challenge like this seasons next season we may loose a few more but draw a lot less. And if I'm not mistaken isn't there a game tomorrow to win? Let the Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, United fans gloat that City have likely won another title , the dire state some of those clubs are in at present gives them no comfort watching thier own teams .

Very strange kman, especially when Spurs new stadium wasn’t even sold out, glory hunters comes to mind. I guess there kids will grow up to support city.

This all feels too cruel. I’m trying to find the energy for tomorrow - but I don’t know if I can take the disappointment of getting my hopes up.

Who knows though, maybe Brighton will have the game of their lives next week. Although, Wolves will be no walk in the park either. 🤷‍♂️😑.

I’ve got to say it is a worry for next year. City hit 100 points last year, i thought there was no way they could do that again. But if they finish on 98 points that’s awfully close. Start of the season I would of said 97 points would easily win it and we have been proven wrong.
My worry is can we repeat this season next season, surely finishing second in that fashion is demoralising, plus all the other teams will splash the cash in summer too.

Call me deluded but I still hold that THE WAIT IS OVER! All we've looked to with expectations didn't deliver but meaningful things do come out of despised stuff. Watch BHA hand us the league. #IBELIEVEINMIRACLES.

Yeh but this is good Reds! Fergie created a "us against the world" attitude and it worked for him for many a year.
I don't hate City they've only been around 5 minutes, and if they beat us to the league so be it. I like the fact everyone hates us again, it means we're getting very good.
