I’m astonished by the amount of posts saying it’s over, City aren’t going to slip up etc etc.

I remember when we were close in 14 and then we lost to Chelsea. Think we went in to that on a 12 game winning run. They all come to an end.

City have lost to palace, Newcastle and Leicester this year. They are not as unbeatable as people make out all we can do is look after ourselves but I’m adamant they will be a slip up, potentially from both sides.

We have not bottled or blown the league, we might finish on 97 (97!) points which apart from last year would be enough to win it. If city win their last three then their record would be 18 wins and one loss in the second half of the season. that is simply ridiculous form but I refuse to give up until the final whistle goes in our last game. The players deserve our continued support after a brilliant season.

Mate it's over. But the Champions League is most definitely In our hands.

The players will always have my support but that doesn't mean we can't be realistic. Yes City have lost to Palace, Leicester and Newcstle this season but how likely is it, on the run they are on that it will happen again. Its not impossible no but the likelihood is City will win their last three games, and bravo to them if they do as that will be a sensational run to the title. Our players have pulled up trees this season and will be cheered to the last whistle but that doesn't mean people are not allowed to say they think an amazing team like City will beat three mediocre teams to take the title.

You’re contradicting yourself there.
Forget City, and especially forget Man Utd because they are a waste of space and it’s embarrassing to read LFC fans wanting them to win.
The best side wins the league and we’ll only know that in three games time.
If it’s City, fair play to them.

We were 7 points clear, if we don’t win the league then it’s a bottle. It’s the literal definition 😂
City have only this to play for mainly now. It’s wishful thinking but they just won’t realistically drop points. Even assuming we win all ours!

I’d say it’s over, my only hope was spurs really. City needing a win to clinch the league will brush aside teams that have nothing to play for.

There's no doubt it's difficult now, city can easily focus on league and knowing winning their 3 games will retain their tittle which makes more difficult for their opponents taking anything from them.

After looking at utd today still can't believe how we drew w/ em especially w/ all those injuries :- ( ( (.

DeanW, I am not sure that I understand your post and the use of a laughing emoji. If you are seriously suggesting that this Liverpool team are bottlers you really need to find another team to follow. Apologies if I have misunderstood you.

Dean, you been repeating this "bottlers" talk for a while now so let me ask you this: When City got dumped out of the CL by Spurs on the away goals rule. are the bottlers? Pep is yet to make a CL final since he left Barca. Is he a bottler? Max Allegri has played two CL finals and lost them both to Barcelona and RM, Is he a bottler? Should we win the PL this season, will that make City bottlers? I mean, I can keep going.

Now if the answer is no then how can LFC been bottlers then if we don't win the PL this season? Your post is ridiculous as it is patently false.

RedWolf, you've nailed it for me there.

If we miss out on the title, fair play. Best team won. But to say we bottled it? Jesus.

It could end up finishing as it is now. 1 point in it. how can that constitute bottling it? We've hardly crippled under pressure if that happens. Just one team has had one less fortunate result than the other. Sh** happens mate.

Ridiculous post DeanW. Quiet the opposite of bottlers actually as after our blip when everybody conceded defeat 10 games ago our boys have stood up and fought city point for point. If city get 7 points from 3 games and we get 9 we are champions. But if city also get 9 we are then bottlers? Your embarrassing mate.

If you are 7 points clear then draw 3 or was it 4 games in a row, then that is bottling, whether you want to believe it or not.
Not sure how it's "embarrassing", its just an honest opinion. How would Pep ever be called a bottler by your definition, I dislike him but he's on for a triple this year. if City had been 3-0 against spurs and lost then yeah it's different.
we've done well, but is anyone going to be happy if we just come second? again.

Its embarrassing seeing Liverpool fans wanting united to win? I would want a team of XI serial killers to win if it meant Liverpool winning the league.

DeanW we were 7 points ahead for about a week. On 3rd of January we lost to city at the etihad in a game which could have gone either way. It was 4 points then immediately at halfway point of the season. City have dropped points in ONE game since and we suffered a blip with the squad depleted with injuries and have battled to maintain pace with a near perfect city side. I don't think you honestly understand the meaning of the term 'bottled' if that's what you'd class it as. Start of December nobody even thought city could be chased at all. I'm not sure if you're trolling or not to be honest.

I give up, 7 points ahead past the halfway point of the season. Ahead till February.
