Time for Gazzaniga to have an absolute blinder 👍.

For all of you who were celebrating city crashing out there's your down side 1-0 down after 4 minutes, city knock them out and spurs don't play that side. Hope Ajax do a number on them now and they miss out on top 4. Don't say that could of happened regardless, that result has took them into that game with a totally different mindset.

What happens with other teams happens, we can only control our own destiny, and that's all we should be focusing on.

Spurs played well and were unlucky not to get something. I’m as gutted as anybody and it has put a proper downer on my day but there are still 4 games left. United need to produce some kind of reaction at some point and hopefully it willbe in the derby. I know the fans won’t want them to win neccasarily but those united players and ole don’t give two monkeys they’re all playing for their careers and for a champions league place. It was unrealistic to expect spurs to do us two favours in one week.

United absolutely have to get a result Wednesday, or they will more than likely finish outside of the top 4. I expect an inspired United Wednesday. I hate to say it, but I'll be cheering them on. I hope you all forgive me for that. I have to go take a shower now, I feel dirty for even thinking about cheering for United.

Spurs were the ones I thought would get a result. City will rout United. I expect City to win the league.
The Champions League on the other hand has Liverpool's name on it.

Stone I'm totally with you. If it brings home the trophy we crave I'll cheer as loud as any utd fan if they get a result. My dad's the same and he's been going to Anfield since 1962. It's disgusting and makes me feel violated but I think it is justified, just this once surely. Spurs are throwing all their eggs in one basket, just look at their team today. Klopp is saying we're not tired Cs the players have a goal so are motivated so I can't see a difference for a team fighting for top four. I think ajax will knock them out, if not, we'll have them in the final and show them a winning mentality, come on the reds.

Waro, your gloating is unwarranted, as if City winning in the CL would automatically give Spurs confidence, something that Spurs' perf. today completely debunked. I was one of those who wanted City to lose to Spurs on Wed and I was happy they did. Why? Cos City would be shattered and terrified of going another 12 rounds against Spurs again today and judging by the way the game panned out, I was correct.

City were shattered and utterly terrified of Spurs today and this revealed in how many chances Spurs created not by carving City open, BUT by the amount of simple defensive mistakes City made. Any ball over the top and the "Best team and Best manager in history" were panicking like a female escort during church on Sundays. If City give up that many chances in the game vs Utd (who HAVE to get something from the game) and Rashford and Martial have their shooting boots on then, they are NOT winning the derby, that much is for sure.

Had Son and Moura had their shooting boots on then Spurs would have routed them, FACT. Son alone, could have buried them had he taken two if his three clear chances. Hats off to Spurs who did their fans proud these past 10 days. As for what they do vs Ajax, I'm not arsed one bit about it cos we have to deal with Barcelona on our end. We keep the faith!

I think he answered that quite quickly by letting in their first goal.

Seano_ the league is over. We lost it ages ago. The only competition we have any chance in is the champions league.

Redwolf, what are you talking about, gloating? Gloating about what? You've totally lost me! I wanted City to go through the other night because of the extra games they'd of played and the pressure that was building for the quadruple and the fact spurs probably would of gone to city for at least a point to more or less guarantee top 4. Yet most of you on here were celebrating.

Unbelievable! Don't know what game you were watching but city were the best team for long periods and the young lad foyth was getting ripped by sterling all day, how he wasn't subbed at half time showed spurs weren't really bothered about the result. Oh and by the way, why are you all saying you feel violated etc wanting United to win? Does that make you a bigger Liverpool supporter or something? I hope they win 15-0 and will cheer every goal they score and care not a jot, we need city to drop points ASAP so stop with the faux guilt of wanting a united win.

salah, we must be long lost relatives, us and AOE for sure.

20 Apr 2019 23:05:56
I agree with you there, Waro la.

I also wanted City to lose and the one and only upside of a spurs win was to dent their confidence enough to drop points straight after. However they won today (I didn’t see the game or the highlights) they won.

The hope that is United is one I will cling on to!

Now to pull back some Gd against Cardiff.

Not bothered too much about the City Spurs CL game, I wanted extra time and penalties but that was gone after about 5 mins 😄
Now we rely on City dropping points and I think they’re more likely to drop them at Burnley than Old Trafford.
I want LFC to win the league and CL and if that means I want ManU to win a game then so be it 👍.

Hahaha, I think you might be right stone mate!

20 Apr 2019 23:30:04
Why stone? Is it because the three of you are delusional and just keep saying how Great we are when we've won nothing for years? I can't believe how some fans can say we've won the league for sure when it's not in our hands, if we don't win it then I'm sure you'll put some ultra positive spin on it and say we are certainties next year and we'll never lose a game, I can see what your doing, if we win you will float saying "I told you so" but if we don't you will say we'll do it this year and anyone who disagrees is negative and not a red.

18.) 21 Apr 2019
21 Apr 2019 04:49:51
Delusional Waro? more like we're just not negative buggers and can see how good the team are, we believe in the team. If you want to be miserable and ignore that then you go ahead and be that way but don't expect everybody else to follow suit.

Sure we haven't won anything for years but if you can't see how close we are, if you can't see how much this team has improved and are capable of winning stuff now then there's only one delusional one here mate.

19.) 21 Apr 2019
21 Apr 2019 10:23:48
We are a fantastic side Salah and I'm proud of the team and the manager regardless of what happens in the next few weeks, but these "we will smash them" "we will win this league no problem" "they are scared of us" comments are totally delusional and rank up there with "it's our year" nonsense, have that arrogance when we've actually won this league again and are consistently challenging for it. At this moment it's making the three of you look silly and leaving you wide open to stick if it doesn't happen.

20.) 21 Apr 2019
21 Apr 2019 22:19:40
You think I'm bothered if I get a bit of stick mate from people on a website? you think that'll bother me? hahaha you misunderstand mate. If we don't win the league and I get hassle from people like yourself trust me when I say this, I won't be losing any sleep mate lol!

I'll just do it again next season to do your head in.
