Is there any confirmation on dates of the Barcelona ties. At the moment it says both semis are on Tuesday 30th surely that can't be right?

Imagine if we have it in our hands going into wolves game. That week would see anfield under the lights semi 2nd leg vs Barcelona and just days later hopefully the league decider.

Just imagine the potential magic that week might produce. Spine tingling at the thought of it.

Ibiza, I think that means both semis - Liv/ Barca and Ajax/ Spurs - are on the same day.

Not that both legs will be played on the same day ;-)

This isn't an Under 9s round robin tournament :D.

I know when the return leg is but I’m trying to establish if Liverpool play Tuesday or Wednesday in each week. Everywhere at the moment says both semi finals are on the same day each week but surely tv scheduling wouldn’t allow that.

Just been confirmed.

Spurs are 30th April/ 8th May and we are 1st May/ 7th May.

Seems a bit odd to stagger them, especially as one pair get 8 days in between and the other paid only get 6?

There’s probably a reason (linked to money! ) as to why they aren’t both on 7 day gaps!

Some broadcasters get allocations of matches between them. Alternating days is to give them the opportunity to show one leg of each tie. Remember the Sky/ ITV days?
