Imagine thinking you won the game in the dying seconds and celebrate for a whole minute only for VAR to say nahh. I feel bad for city haha.

{Ed0333's Note - why would you feel sorry for City? I don’t have you’re compassion, I’m a bad bad man 😁

Problem is though Ed City will have a point to prove now on Saturday and Spurs could be in for a mauling if they are not careful. I just hope that all the goals in the City v Spurs fixtures are all scored now for the season and it's a dire 0-0 on Saturday afternoon.

{Ed0333's Note - I agree mate let’s hope Spurs are still not in Party mood and the City players are feeling sorry for themselves.

Can't feel bad for them after what happened at Swansea!

Wiseryan, were you this compassionate for Swansea where a lack of VAR benefited City? The fact of the matter is that I have NO love nor compassion whatsoever for City and I was chuffed to bits for them to lose and get dumped out of the CL cos that will only plunge them deeper into doubt for the run-in. Try being the manager to get the City boys ready and ginned up for Sat and you will see how immense Pep's job will be.

"They will have a point to prove on Sat. ". Kimuraking, And City did not have a point to prove in both legs vs Spurs? Everyone thought they were in for a mauling (I wasn't one of them as I thought Pep would regret the first leg result with his hapless tactics and selection) today and they did not. Spurs are full of confidence while City are in tatters so where is the mauling coming from cos I don't see it? Now that doesn't mean Spurs cannot get thumped BUT for right now, I don't see that happening and if anything, don't be surprised if Spurs win cos we all know City lose their heads when things don't go their way, like they didn't today.

{Ed0333's Note - bloody hell wolf you’re posting prolifically tonite. You must have a lot on you’re chest mate lol.

RedWolf i agree. Case in point the Netflix man city documentary when Guardiola was mentally drained by being really worried about liverpools front three with no answer. He may be worried and that will rub onto the team.

What i like the most, is after liverpool went out the FA cup, City fans were literally thank you pep for taking every cup seriously, but honestly back then i thought to myself honestly if us going out the FA cup results in us being able to win either the PL or the Cl or still a slight possibility, can't say it too soon, we could even have a shot at both i would take it any day of the week.

No CL for City again, failing again to get past their fellow English opposition.

I hope spurs are ready to do City again when they play them this weekend :)

watching pep sink to his knees when the VAR call went against sterling genuinely triggered my sympathy for him!

Ed0333, I'm on one, man. I am sick and tired (to the back teeth, as they say) of everyone (esp, . in the biased media) trying to crown City as quadruple champions while forgetting or conveniently avoiding to mention how crap they are defensively and how vulnerable they are whenever a team actually stands up to them.

What Spurs did to them tonite is what happens when you go to the bully's backyard and man up to him once and for all. Of course, you'll get punched a fair bit BUT if you don't back down and punch back, the bully will bleed and you know what they say, "If it bleeds, you can kill it". The media have made City this invincible machine who won't drop points or get beat anymore this season. Well, that's easy to say when City are gettting fat off of beating Nobody FC (Plalace, Fulham, Cardiff, Schalke, B'mouth, Chelsea etc) of late.

The only 3 times they played a decent team, they needed a lack of VAR to beat Swansea in the FA Cup (the media NEVER mentions that), Spurs beat them at their new stadium and just put 3 goals past them at the Emptyhad in a CL Q-final second leg. City got roughed up tonite and showed how weak they are whenever they face adversity, just like every bully.

But don't worry, Ed. I'm sure, the media will be back tmrw to stroke their ego and try to remind us all of how great City are and try to whitewash the complete debacle that was their CL campaign and make it look like it was a blip. We shall see if it is a blip when they have to go another 12 rounds vs a Spurs team who just roughed them up big time in their perenially empty stadium. Peace out!
