What's everyone thinking about the man city v spurs game. If city win puts another couple of tough games onto them, and obviously if they lose makes the champions league more open.

The ideal scenario for me would be for City to scrape through against Spurs, who would then go through to the next round and get a schooling by Juve, and Spurs would then exact revenge in the form of a big performance in the league. I feel like if City were to get knocked out they would pick themselves up very quickly and concentrate that anger on winning all their remaining league games.

I’ve been saying the same as Woolback. We want City to have more games with a semi final to play and we want Tottenham to owe them a revenge beating for knocking them out. Worse case scenario City focus on the league and want revenge against Spurs.

Nah I want city to lose in the CL, spurs will be deflated if they lose and I don’t think they are the kind of team to fight back. City losing is what’s needed, remind them they are beatable.

I think we need Spurs to ride momentum into the PL match at the weekend. If City comeback and knock them out of CL m, I can see Spurs being deflated and getting hammered on the weekend.

I would hope for 1-0 to city to take it to extra time then city to take it on Pens. Takes an extra 30 mins out of citys legs, they get the win (extra two games) and may become slightly complacent and spurs go out for revenge on Saturday.

Not stopped debating this in my head since spurs won the first leg and i still can't decide so will watch the second leg on the fence.
We need to be perfect for 4 games and city need 5 wins so id say at this point we are favourites looking at the fixtures, obviously its 2 outstanding teams so its so hard to call, if they get past spurs and utd within 4 days which will be really tough, they still need to go away to burnley and vardy likes playing city too so hope won't die until its gone, on the flip side we could have it wrapped up before the last game, incredible season to challenge.

I wouldn't like extra time actually. It would take 30 mins out of spurs legs too. And city have far better quality if rotation is needed.
