Hi ed001

What do you make of Camacho's comments on Instagram regarding where he feels he should play and that his hat trick for the U/ 23 team proves it? Disrespectful or passionate?

{Ed001's Note - not a clue as I don't have Instagram and have not seen any comments.}

Hi ed001

He said he doesn't know whose idea it was to play him as a right back but he will show them they are mistaken. It was after scoring a hat trick for the u/ 23s yesterday from the right forward position.

{Ed001's Note - doesn't sound so bad, he was only put at right back because he was good and there was no one else to go there. It is up to him to prove that it was a mistake because he is good enough to make it as an attacking player. Young players need to have that kind of fire in their belly, they should be looking to prove people wrong. It was what drove Harry Kane on, for instance. Usually players only develop it when they flop and drop down the leagues, hopefully he will have it now and will be constantly working to prove himself.}

Thanks your comments make sense, I guess it’s more of a case of publically voicing it rather than a conversation with upturns staff internally.

I have high hopes for him, really showing good development in the last 12 months! Would he a shame to lose him.

For what its worth i thought he played well at RB in pre season. And, he did make trent-like forward bursts.

{Ed002's Note - He is leaving in the summer.}

{Ed002's Note - Anywhere.}

Ed do you think we will see a number of our better youth players leaving due to difficulty getting into the first team?

{Ed001's Note - only if they are not good enough.}

Thanks for your reply Ed001

Instagram has become so engraved in players lives. You aren't seen as a powerful marketing tool if you don't use it so many players don't want to miss out on that.

I admit I use Instagram too much and do check regularly what players post. Lovren and Salah are extremely close as they are always posting about each other.

{Ed001's Note - I have no interest in any of those kind of things to be honest. Most Prem players now have social media teams who do the posting for them, so it is just bollox.}

Sorry hang on Ed002, you're certain Camacho is leaving?
Because he wants first-team football? Is his contract up?
Thanks a lot in advance, you're the only source we can trust.

{Ed002's Note - The club are looking to sell him this summer because he will not sign a contract - the reason being is that he does not see a way in to the first team squad and play in his preferred position. There are a couple of interested sides and he will look at his optios. There is nothing new in this - it has been going on for some months.}

Okay thanks a bunch ed002, nice to have the official word.
It seems a shame that an 18 year old isn't prepared to work up through the ranks. You'd imagine he should be able to see a way past Wilson and Shaqiri in the pecking order to eventually compete with Salah and perhaps replace him one day. Kids these days. I wonder if we can sell with a buyback clause thingy.

{Ed002's Note - I agree but sadly it is becoming a common issue.}

Yeah if a club like Liverpool wants to keep you the smart move is probably to sign the longest contract you can. There's not much greener grass out there, there should be a sign on the way out the exit at Melwood/ Kirkby 'Leave at your own risk' :)
Although I'm happy to see Jerome Sinclair has finally found his level at Oxford United after flopping at Sunderland.
