Cheers Ed001, no idea how accurate those salaries are but they're at least food for thought. I was initially surprised Diego Simeone was number 1 for managers, but considering his influence at Atletico Madrid I probably shouldn't have been. Can't think of many active managers as synonymous with a top club.

If the Henry salary is accurate, that's absurd. For a manager in his first job? Jesus. Also surprised to see more of the lads in china don't make the players list.

{Ed001's Note - it is not just salaries mate, it is endorsements and bonuses as well. There will be an amount of 'estimation' involved.}

Thanks a lot Ed, quick question where Higuain is concerned, how would Chelsea's potential transfer ban affect a deal like that that's already in place, ie an agreement was made prior to their transfer ban to either buy or extend the loan?

{Ed001's Note - I am not 100% sure, as the ban they are under is not exactly fully legal anyway, due to the fact they are appealing and it is still being enforced as if they are guilty. I do believe that, from what I am told (though it is guesswork based on legalities due to this situation never actually having occurred before) that they could sign him due to his registration already being with them from the loan deal. However UEFA have not followed usual procedure and precedents with this ban, so they might challenge that, I have no idea.}

Cheers Ed, have a good one mate! Looking forward to tonight! I reckon we're going to smash the living daylights out of them but I'm always wrong so let's just wait and see, we can only hope :) .

{Ed001's Note - a win is a win and that would do me, smashing would be great, but a 1-0 would be fine.}

Thanks for the response Ed, it seems to be like Brexit, it's been decided but no one either side has a clue what's going on.

{Ed001's Note - it is not even truly decided as Chelsea have legal grounds to have the ban lifted, until after the appeal, so I would not be surprised if they do act. What UEFA have done is ignore all legal precedent and just act like a dictator and ride roughshod over the rules. It is notable they did not act like that when it was Real Madrid and Barcelona...}

Absolutely mate, I'd be happy with a 1-0 all season long, if it gets us the trophies who gives a damn.

Hazard must be licking his lips after seeing that list.

Very clear now why the Coutinho return rumors are hogwash. Lfc could never match that salary and keep peace in the dressing room. I'm amazed at the difference between Zidane's and Simeone's salaries.
