Ed am I right in thinking Ox has to play in the next 5 league games to be given a PL medal should we win it?

I thought they changed the rules on this? I'm pretty sure the winning club just get given a fixed number of medals to hand out to the players they choose. Something like 25 or 30 I thought. Maybe I dreamt that up though 😂.

Unfortunately not virgil. I wish we could but I'd rather him be 100% for next season, it's not worth the risk but I find it a real shame him not getting a medal when we win the league.

I get the sentiment wanting Ox to get a medal if we win the league but technically he’s had no impact on our season so far and it’s extremely unlikely he will. I personally don’t think he’s the type of lad to think selfishly in this scenario anyway as I’m sure he’d be congratulating his team mates success and looking forward to helping making us consistently successful.

Totally gutted for him if he doesn't get a medal, if we win it. I think we will win the champions league though. Maybe both but we are a point behind city mathematically. If we in the ucl i think he would be given a medal. It was the ucl that gave hom his injury.

Just think next season, if we do miss out this year. Aoc will be like a new signing. One that is already settled. Its coming, something big, this year, next year.
