Question for ed001 as he touched on the subject last season and anyone who has a opinion

What does everything think of klopps subs this season as we all agreed last year he was to slow to react has he improved or stayed the same?

{Ed001's Note - sometimes better, though there is still a tendency to hold on too long, such as at the weekend.}

Always find them to be reactive rather than proactive.

OP, it's a bit better than before BUT as Ed said, he still waits too long to make the subs esp. those that are obvious. Vs Spurs, it was clear Spurs' tactical change was giving our midfield fits and we all knew the goal would come if he did not make the change or do something to stem the tide. The funny thing is that Fab had been warming up for ten minutes or so prior to the Spurs goal so again, too reactive and takes too long to make changes. Apart from that, brilliant manager.

Waits FAR too long to change it and runs players into the ground even when the game is won.

A sign of distrust in the substitutes maybe?
The midfield gets rotated regularly but the front three much less so.
And defence barely ever.
Perhaps this is an indication of where Summer’s investment in the squad will be aimed, broadening Klopp’s choices up front and, as Ed001 said, defenders and particularly full backs.
If we made the squad stronger with three or four quality players, able to interchange, I think we’ve cracked it.
