Robertson's crossing is pin point so far. Well done on the assist.

Anyone still want to argue with me that ederson has far better distribution than alisson?

Alisson is miles better nun red, end of story. They aren't even on the same level mate.

I also believe that Ederson's distribution is better (slightly though), but Alisson is a much better keeper. No doubt about that.

Alisson is the better goalkeeper. But distribution wise, I will go with Ederson.

Alisson is a better goalkeeper.
Ederson is a better passer.
Nun red is a snidey know it all.

Ederson definitely has the better distribution.

{Ed001's Note - does he? Or does he just have an easier job picking a pass under little pressure with numerous options? Alisson in Serie A was distributing the ball almost Xabi Alonso-like. It is much easier to play passes for City from the back when every team is dropping off your players.}

Alisson had a bad day at the office today that’s all.

Alisson was poor after last international break. Hopefuuly, he’ll be back on form for rest of season.

My only point was on distribution none of the rest of it. alisson is the better goalkeeper (imo) ederson has miles better distribution.

Edersons a decent goalie who's great with his feet. allison while probably not as good with his feet is superior in every other way, as is De Gea in fairness. Allison and De Gea best two in the league for me, wit allison the best judging by this season alone.

Salah, Alisson isn't miles better mate. Back from game and Alisson was lousy today, he was also at fault for the Fulham goal. He's brought about a major improvement to us but I follow us home and away and there is still room for improvement in all areas of his game. And I also think Ederson's distribution is better at the moment. My opinion.

Ederson's distribution is better I don't think that is a debate, of course he is better at distribution. Who is the better keeper? Well that is Allison more presence and better shot stopper.

I don’t think they are too far apart, but think Ederson slightly edges it on the distribution front. Alissons first season in the prem sure, so getting used to it still, but there’s a few misplaced balls and putting players under pressure kinda unnecessarily.

{Ed0333's Note - Allison Becker for me only just tho.

I'll use some exaggeration (to make my point) . Ederson looks like an outfield player who plays in goal. And Allison looks like a goalkeeper who can play in the outfield. That's the difference between them for me. It wasn't asked, but Allison is the better goalkeeper. Maybe i'm being a traditionalist, but a goalkeeper's biggest assets are his hands; feet come second.

{Ed0333's Note - well said mate I totally agree. Whereas Mignolets best asset is Twitter.

I agree with you Salah, I'd take Allison all day over Ederson. There's no question in my mind at all.

Alisson is better. Its why he plays fpr brazil.

If people are trying to separate Alli and Ederson based on distribution only then it only shows that overall, Ederson is not in Alli's league when it comes to overall goal-keeping ability. That much is clear. I mean, Ederson seems to concede with every well-placed shot on target while Alli has made so many point blank saves this season to keep is in the PL title hunt. I know who I would rather have.

As Ed said, Ederson can pick a pass cos NOBODY presses him. We have seen what he is like when pressed and under pressure from opposing strikers (see City's 4-3 hammering they received at Anfield) . I agree that he was nervous today our Allison BUT he is the better keeper, hands down. The whole distribution thing I (of which Alli is NO slouch by the way) is just a red herring and if Ederson wants to have that then I', good. We have the better GK and that is all that should matter.

Two very good keepers on their day. Id find it hard to separate them ability-wise but Allisson is ours, and is one of the few men who can rock the fluorescent pink jersey without looking silly. So second place to Ederson.

I'm absolutely baffled at how people can call Ederson a good keeper and what get's me is the majority probably haven't seen him play more than a handful of times, just like when people called Alisson bad because we scored a load past him at Roma! Judge a player on a season or two not the odd couple of games. Ederson is far from a good keeper. He's alright at best.
