A draw today would be catastrophic.

I wouldn't go that far, I think we'll do it, I am really confident about the game but if we don't it's not the end of the world and doesn't mean we're down and out, we move onto the next game no matter what the result.

A draw today might well end our challenge because of the GD column, but I'm not having it that coming second to a team which cost £1.3billion is catastrophic. Anyway, City could still lose a couple of games even if we did draw or lose today? They're not invincible. They would've lost to Swansea if they hadn't cheated.

{Ed025's Note - pint of bitter for MK i think.. :)

So much for this being a website for debate and opinions.

There are trolls on here for sure, but they are the over zelos individuals who keep telling us we are playing really well and going to get out of first gear second half of the season!

To be 9 points ahead and gp to City and play for a damn draw - that was catastrophic and that was huge mistake by Klopp, which now jas led us to being 1 point behind - so we fell 10 points back.

We can only hope for the best now.
Hope the team is not muted after such a long break.
Hope Klopp does not keep presisting with Sturridge and Lallana when it comes to subs.
And hope Klopp has a plan B, which he will use if needed.

{Ed001's Note - how did playing for a draw in one game do that? People do make some ludicrous claims on both sides. It was far from catastrophic.}

I agree with the OP. At this stage of the season with the amount of games left I think a draw would be catastrophic for our desire to win the League this season. I couldn't see how we could come back from being behind City with them having a game in hand so for me the OP makes a valid point.

Perspective gents. Win today and we're certain to finish at least second with 6 to play. Had you offered me that at the start of the season I'd have bitten your hand off. It's all about progression and this season has most certainly been that. Of course it's frustrating to have drawn 4 games in a short period, but had we drawn them sporadically throughout the season I'd hope that the belief was extremely real. Come on boys, enjoy the ride. Whether we or City win the league, it will be a hell of an effort from both. Appreciate how good City have been, but so have we. Come on Red men.

These next 2 games are so important. We have tough teams, city have easy ones. If we win these next 2 games, we will win the title as city's remaining fixtures look tough and jammed together so these next 2 games will have a large say in what happens next. If we get over this hurdle then we are closer than city to the finish line. So what I'm also saying is, if we draw, we are still in it but I just hope we win our next 2 matches and pile the pressure on city.

I was actually glad they won Ed025! More games they have the more tired they get. I did feel for Swansea though. They were clearly robbed.

{Ed025's Note -we all root for the underdog MK and i get that, but in reality city were the better side and deserved to win mate, i dont get this hatred of man city thing as it reeks of sour grapes and do we really want to see swansea in a domestic show case event like the FA cup?, i have a feeling that the league and CL will be a shootout between liverpool and city and that works for me, sentiment is all well and good but as a neutral i want to see the better sides playing for the trophies..

I don't think MK is wrong though Ed25!

{Ed025's Note - its the persecution complex coming out in you im afraid CM, you have to get over this thing about everyone hating liverpool and loving city mate, it certainly does not endear you to the rest of the footballing world..
