There's only one word for me after the 3 wins last week PRIDE.

To come back from behind against Burnley, beat Bayern away and then travel to London to beat Fulham in atrocious weather was nothing short of fantastic.

We have now got those battling qualities that have been missing for a while.

Long may it continue.

Never thought about it like that, but you're bang on, that was 3 performances required for 3 tough games due to circumstances, great to see the team do what's required and marching on.

Spot on KBL! Especially when we badly needed the points. Pressure is on city now, only 7 games left for us to right/ witness history that's how close we are 😊😊.

Nice one mate, in other years, when that Babel goal went in, it could have finished us there and then.

Between 9th-28th April City play Spurs away (CL), Palace away (L), Spurs at home (CL), Spurs at home (L), Man Utd away (L) and then Burnley away (L) .

They may even have a game against Brighton in the FA cup or the rearranged Cardiff league game (or both) crammed in there somewhere.

That is at least 6 very intense games, and 3 of the 4 league fixtures are away from home against very physical teams, all in 19 days. If they win every league game in that run (without dodgy decisions), we will likely concede the title to a phenomenal side. That's an awful fixture list that's piled up.

MK Scouser, great stuff and some cause for optimism for the mighty Reds there. The PL table never lies and if City emerge from that fixture pile-up to win it, total respect to them.

Spot on, Lads. If City come thru that UNCONSCIOUS fixture list while we win all our games then I will near applaud them for a brilliant season and I can deal with that outcome. As for our 3 wins last week, it simply shows how mentally tough this team is under pressure. Make no mistake about it, we were under IMMENSE pressure last week and even tho we were pegged back vs Bayern or Fulham or having a goal being gifted to the oppo. by another incompetent ref, the boys just dusted themselves off and got on with it.

Our boys are brilliant and so it the manager who tho not perfect, is a leader of men and continues to squeeze every drop of quality from these amazing players. i mean, when you see Sadio Mane by sheer will play out of his skin thru out last week. When you see him sink to his knees after the final whistle at Fulham, that just tells you the physical, mental and emotional drain the season is having on them. YET they continue to plug away and keep the dream alive. In the end, that's all we can and should ask of them. If Klopp were to realize all our dreams this season, it will be the club's GREATEST achievement in it's storied history, IMO. Bigger than Istanbul and all that. Make us dream, lads!

Wholeheartedly agree with this summary and I was annoyed at people whinging yesterday when we won. At this stage of the season it's all about collecting three points. My gut feel is if we win all 7 remaining games we will be champions as I think City will be held to a draw somewhere.

Problem is MK, spurs and united have the same fixture build up, bar the fa cup, and city have the squad to cope. Spurs may well rest players in the league to push for the CL.

Redwolf, can you explain please. Because our history is bigger than most clubs in the world and winning the league this year will be huge, great, fantablous . but far from the GREATEST achievement. Winning the league title just one season after being promoted from the 2nd division with next to nothing funding is a great achievement . so perspective please.

red wolf - agree completely. For me it shows, and I hope that fans see this, that the players are putting in a big shift for the shirt. Hope they are rewarded with silverware at the end.

Roy I think he meant if we win all our objectives - ie we’re still in the league and CL.

I know it’s still a very remote chance, but if we did win the double against the likes of this Man City side and Barca/ Juve etc. then it really would be up there IMO.

Not anywhere near a likely outcome, but neither is City winning a quadruple and people still talk about that!

Hope not 😬.

They do Firmane, but tiredness is an even bigger equaliser than bad weather or a bad pitch.

The best teams like City are the best because they constantly move to find space for a pass, and because they work hard out of possession to win it back fast. If you have a side who don't really do that anyway like Man Utd, they gain a huge advantage over City who've built their whole system around intensity of movement and pressing.

If they grind out the wins, you just have to applaud them to be honest.
