Evening Ed002

Can I just ask please are you aware what positions Liverpool are looking to prioritise with signings in he summer, or is it far to early to tell?

{Ed002's Note - Need GK, CB, LB/RB cover and LM - could look to a Creative AM player. But most would not be first pick. It also depends on which youngsters (e.g. Brewster) can step up and who leaves.}

I know Ed01 mentioned it but in your opinion 02 do you think Liverpool could sign Hudson odoi this summer? Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - No. I don't know what Ed001 has said but if Liverpool have made an approach it would be an illegal one.}

No chance Lerchy mate, the player would want guarantee's of game time and Chelsea have already turned down some pretty ridiculous offers. that's without the premiums they'd add when selling to a direct rival.

Plus Chelsea's transfer situation is going to be a mess with the potential transfer Ban and Hazard likely leaving. Likeable player but there's just no way it happens.

Some good points there eamon, I agree with you now you put it like that. I’m gutted we didn’t get sancho.

I personally like the idea of a full back that also has the pace and ability to cover the front wide positions too, you’ve got 2 in 1 then and better value for money.
Sessegnon could fit the bill actually, I’m a fan of his and he’d prosper under Klopp I feel.
Hopefully Brewster can cover the striker role but, if not, again a versatile quickie is a must.
Happy days though, CL football to look forward to again next year.

I think Brewster will certainly be given a chance, let’s not forget he was top scorer in that World Cup tournament sancho and Foden were in and they’re coming along nicely. I think he got player of the tournament too? Good luck to the lad.

Sessegnon would be a Good shout, takes care of lb and lm, loads of potential and helps home grown quota.

He just said he wasn’t aware of any interest but I think he would be a great option if Shaqiri was to leave, thanks Ed.

Any interest from Liverpool in Kai Havertz for that Att mid role Ed002?

{Ed002's Note - None at all I am afraid.}

Thank you Ed, only just seen your reply mate. Laxalt you have mentioned for the LM spot and a few young centre backs. Any ideas on the GK or LB/ RB cover?

{Ed002's Note - I have explained that I suspect interest in Laxalt has gone. I am not aware of Liverpool being any further forward with other positions although they are continuing scouting on a constant basis - as of course many clubs are.}

Thanks for the info Ed002. Can i ask if you're aware of particular moves for any Liverpool players? Either them wanting a move or them being wanted. Ta.

{Ed002's Note - Nothing concrete although some of the youngsters will be considering their future if players, particularly young players, come in ahead of them.}
