I swear most of our fans are bipolar, last week all I read was lallana offers nothing and should never play again.

I think it's fair to say he is a pretty average impact sub. But as an option from the start, he's always been a player who grows into games.

He is still a bit slow in terms of decision making on the ball (and no doubt always will be because he loves being on the ball) but if he can maintain that intensity of pressing every week, he has every right to start ahead of Keita and Shaqiri. Credit where it is due, his aggression was key to the win yesterday. Man of the match by far.

Hyperbole is the name of the game haha. Lallana has been poor this season but had a really good game yesterday. Would love if he kept it up (though I'll probably be told he's been fantastic all season and that I'm blind) .

EamonsF, You are right that one swallow does not make a summer and some people will inevitably get carried away with Lallana’s very good performance against Burnley yesterday. But Lallana has had 4 starts and 8 substitute appearances this season, a total of 393 minutes playing time spread over more than 7 months. Isn’t it a bit harsh to say he has been poor this season? Wouldn’t it be more accurate to say we haven’t seen much of him this season?

For the upteenth time, two things can be correct at the same time. It is a fact that Lallana has been poor ALL season whenever he has played. It is also a fact that he played very well yesterday vs Burnley and his impact was indeed felt throughout the team. Where's the beef, exactly?

Personally I thought he had a great game. Central midfield was were he played very well when Klopp first took over era I think.

His energy, tracking and passing are good in that role but I don't like him further forward as he twists and turns and slows the attack down to much imo, but centrally he can be excellent and showed it yesterday.

He did play great on Sunday for me. I was worri3d when I seen the team but he was our b3st player yesterday so fair play to the guy.

He still may leave in the summmer, but if he keeps playing that well when he plays we won’t have a problem selling him.
