Morning Ed.

A bit pathetic from PSG in my opinion, nothing should be said, I'd understand if there was a chance of him playing for them again but he won't lol so what's the point. He quite clearly has no love for the club, he'll soon be out of there so he doesn't give a damn, they should just let him get on with it instead of making daft statements. End of the day, they've brought this on themselves.

Thanks Ed, have a good Saturday mate.

{Ed001's Note - it is bizarre that they think it is ok to deprive a player of games but then expect him to act professionally when they are not being professional. I would expect nothing else of them though.}

Nice one tris, shocking double standards by fifa, will man city be an instant ban too then?

{Ed001's Note - it is bizarre that FIFA have suddenly decided that they do not need to follow standard legal procedure in this one case. Perhaps someone forgot to drop off one of the brown envelopes?}

Thanks ed
Shame to see the issues they are having in scotland with the fans

Have a great day.

{Ed001's Note - it is not just Scotland, but they do seem to be at the forefront right now.}

I'd imagine the russian and arab envelopes would be very big too, fishy. Have a great weekend.

{Ed001's Note - Chelsea have a Russian owner but it is not helping them....}

I know Chelsea’s case is being inconsistently handled by FIFA, but there’s not a lot of point in banning clubs from transfer windows if they can first appeal, hold up the case and then stockpile players in the meanwhile?
It makes the whole issue virtually meaningless if the club can do that?

Agreed Ed mate, bloody hypocrites, any player thinking of joining them need to look at this situation and think again. Do they know nothing about employment law or what? It makes you wonder because they've gone about things in a way it should never go. Very unprofessional, no wonder the lads doing his own thing, who can blame him.

{Ed001's Note - I just don't understand what they are thinking. If you push someone out of the door, you can't then complain that he won't share his lunch with you when you need food. Why should he go and support the club when they have turned their backs on him??}

Exactly mate, I know what I'd tell them, it's start with an f and end with another! I'd be showing no loyalty that's for sure.

{Ed001's Note - I am very surprised they have gone down this route to be honest. It is not the way to attract the best players when they know they will be treated like crap if they decide it is time to move on.}

Well Ed mate, if they want to attract the best players and lose their best, they're going the right way about it lol I see a huge failure for PSG, I really do and I see it been a matter of time before thy hit rock bottom. I hope so anyway, they need to come down a peg or two, their arrogance is a little too much for me mate.

{Ed001's Note - I don't like them at all.}

The treatment of Chelsea really is bizarre, and in complete opposition to pretty much every previous case. Is there even the hint of a reason as to why they've decided on this course of action? Surely time for the FA to actually earn their money and fight FIFA tooth and nail over this. It's Chelsea who are affected now but uneven treatment of identical cases could easily happen to any club unless something is done about as and when it appears.

@The Juicer - I agree it is open to exploitation, and there are perhaps better ways to do it - perhaps a temporary ban whilst the legal process runs its course - but the issue is that FIFA seem to have dealt with Chelsea in a completely different way to all clubs previously without any indication as to why. The rules should apply equally to everyone, not at the discretion of FIFA as and when it suits (or doesn't suit) them.

{Ed002's Note - The FA have also been punished and it could lead to most ELP sides being punished.}

Though I've heard Rabiot and his mother are difficult to deal with, the club have treated him terribly since he announced he wouldn't sign a new contract. You move on and do what's best for the team. That PSG midfield is a makeshift mess and he could have played a huge role.

Only need to look at how Liverpool used Emre last year to see how it should be handled.

{Ed001's Note - or Ramsey at Arsenal. Reminds me, anyone seen Can's penalty? What the hell kind of run up was that???}

Ramsey is another good example.

Can's penalty was utterly bizarre haha. It almost looks like he paused for too long with the stutter and decided to play it off as his run up style.

{Ed001's Note - I was wondering if he saw the Pogba pens and just said to him, "here hold my beer".}
