'What on earth is going on? '

I found myself asking myself that when I read that Ed, far too many houses getting burgled or fans getting assaulted, unreal. Glad for the City fan, hoping for good news about the Utd fan soon. This stuff is hardly anything new but it's happening far too often these days. Thanks very much Ed, I hope you have a top Friday mate.

{Ed001's Note - it is seriously worrying how quickly the world is deteriorating.

Have a great day mate, and that was exactly why I chose the picture, it seemed to sum up the day's round up very well.}

It really is Ed mate, I was only saying it to the Mrs the other day, out of all the news you see it always tends to be bad news! If it's not a knifing its a serious assault, burglaries, somebody going missing, arson, rape etc the list goes on and it's happening every single day! far too often.

Imo, there's no such thing as 'normal' none of us are, how do you even define normal lol but why can't people just be bloody nice? it's not difficult but it seems too many people just want to be pieces of sh*t.

Fighting and/ or trying to kill somebody over a ******* football game is beyond a joke. We have rivalries and what not but don't take it that far! I'm all for a bit of banter but it's meant to be about entertainment, hearing stuff like this all of the time makes people not want to go to games. I see enough bullsh*t in a day I don't need to see it on a day off when it's MEANT to be enjoyable. I'd rather watch it on TV now and it's a shame because the minority are ruining it for the majority, I just choose not to have my kids around anything like that.

{Ed001's Note - I can understand that, football should be fun but some people just are complete f wits.}

Ed001, I'm curious what your take is on the man city allegations? is this old news, or is there potentially something there. what would happen if they do find anything?

{Ed001's Note - the problem is that they have a whole host of clubs outside of UEFA's control now, so they can simply hide costs there and move things around, such as sponsorship to increase City's income falsely. Such as the new Puma deal, which is being claimed to be a massive new deal for City, but they are not paying it all for City, they are paying it to the entire group of clubs. City can fudge their way round any regulations, just the same way the likes of Google and other multi-national companies do to avoid tax.}

In my line of work, I have to deal with people who try to find ways around the system and they are disciplined when it is warranted. In fact, I'm dealing with a situation right now where someone is dancing around in the gray area. In my experience, those who walk that fine line and pitch their tent in that gray area will eventually make a mistake to get themselves in trouble.

It's interesting this City setup Eds. I had an 'argument ' online the other day with a city fan who was guffing off about Liverpool's wage bill being bigger than theirs. He just couldn't get his head around the fact that whilst Liverpool and United seem to have a total of 800/ 900 employees City were only reporting around 450. I'm guessing their 'missing' staff are actually captured somewhere else in the City football group and aren't directly attributed to Man City itself - bit naughty if you ask me, I wonder if all the high earning backroom staff are paid through there, e. g. Pep, meaning that Man City's accounts will always look lighter than other clubs.
