Hi Eds. This is nothing to do with Liverpool so you may not post. But could you mention and comment on the situation at Blackpool. Their first game at home this weekend after getting rid of the vermin-owen Oysten.
It is potentially a sell out crowd after years of rotting with only a few hundred fans attending. The 'not a penny more' campaigners have stayed away from their club and intend to return in their thousands starting with a march from Blackpool Tower to the ground.
Hopefully the FA who turned their backs on the club and their supporters will never allow this to happen to any other club!

{Ed025's Note - its been an amazing campaign denzil and ED003 has been instrumental in that, hes a life long fan and it has been very hard times for them and their families many of who have been intimidated and threatened, hopefully better times are ahead for these valiant warriors who have triumphed over the evil that was the oyston family and their cohorts mate, i have nothing but tremendous respect for all of them..

Thanks for your reply Ed. Good luck to all involved. They have had fans in this week cleaning the seating to welcome people back. All signs of Oystens business taken down and binned. A real cleansing literally and metaphorically!

{Ed003's Note - Friends of mine were some that helped cleaning Denzil, a buzz is finally back, community and footie working together at last, 13k tickets so far sold. It's going to be emotional. Thanks for bringing this up as too many don't give a toss 🍊

Hi Denzil and Ed025, I would be interested to hear some more these owners of Blackpool. Just how bad did it get and why, especially if it reached the level of threats and intimidation. What a shocking way to run a club. Thanks.

{Ed003's Note - for another day once the club has been thoroughly cleansed.}

My father-in-law is a Blackpool fan, ex season ticket holder, not a day goes by when he doesn’t have a rant about Oyston. They have taken everything out of that club and he revels in his role as the villain. The whole family is messed up and they have sued countless people for slander over the years, I think Joey Barton paid them a fair bit of money to stop them taking him to court for calling them asset strippers. Owen also got convicted of raping a 16 year old girl in the 90’s.
It’s amazing they haven’t fallen further down the leagues over the last few years, hopefully they can get a decent owner in and get back to watching their team week in week out.

One of my best mates is a diehard Blackpool supporter and former season ticket holder, and seeing the toll the club’s treatment has had on him has been tough. Seeing the news over the past few months has been so uplifting, and I’m so happy for you and your fellow Tangerines Ed003 - all your pain has paid off mate, here’s to a great Oyston-less future!
