For me im not going to moan about the result it happens but can Ed001 tell me his opinion behind the gini for milner sub I would of thought hendo for milner made more sense, was gini injured?
This team for me is crying out for ox someone who from midfield can unleash a 25 to 30 yard rocket something it seems our midfielders are unable to do atm
We cannot play a midfield with so little goal threat against teams who sit deep we need something a little different a little creativity
That is all that is missing from this team imo.

{Ed001's Note - Gini was tired and Milner runs in behind as well as offers cover for Robertson to get forward more.}

Thank you for the reply makes sense
last question do you think the lallana sub made sense in your opinion or would you have gone a different path?
have a good day mate.

{Ed001's Note - I would not have brought him on no.}

Lallana is neither a goal-scorer or a game-changer. The idea of bringing him on in the last quarter when we’re desperate for a goal is ludicrous imo especially when he hasn't scored for nearly two years.
The time was right to be a bit ballsy and risk Shaq or Keita, players who could provide an X factor and give Everton something to think about. Instead, Lallana ran around a lot. Which is what he does.

Lallana fitted in well with our midfield then because that's all our midfield can do, run around a lot, hugely disappointed with how the games have gone recently and have to say a lot of it has come the changes being made or I should say, not being made during games.

Hey ed001 hows it going bud, i do hate coming on here when we don't win as most people go in a meltdown and say every player crap lol, don't they realise its going to be hard winning the league against this city side, just enjoy we are in this battle, yea results could be better but it is whst it is still 9 games to go so anything could happen.

{Ed001's Note - hi mate, I tend to find it easier to just ignore it, most of it is just senseless whining.}

Yea and a lot of i told you so lol, when we play crap and don't win, rather draw them like we have than lose them.

Maybe Lallana was brought in to hold the ball up top? Press more? I think he can do both better than Shaqiri.

Vakpa

If Lallana couid do all those what you say then he should be kept and given a new contract in May!

VakPa, Lallana is past it. His legs are gone and Klopp may like him BUT he offered nothing yesterday and has not done so for months now. If he could do all the things you say he can, why has he not shown even an ounce of these qualities? Could it be that he can't do these things anymore? Let's call a spade a spade, man. Lallana should NEVER have come on for Mane last night when we actually needed a goal to win the game, end of. That is essentially two mistakes in one go right there and Klopp messed up. We move on.
