For all those supposed to be Liverpool Fans who have thrown the "Towel" in, I will leave you with the following to Mull over. The last time that Liverpool played Everton on the Third Day of March was way back in 1984,what happened
that year the "REAL" fans got behind them and we were rewarded with a League Cup Trophy (beating Everton in the Final), The League Title and our Fourth European Cup (Rome) . The biggest thing i have learned over the years is that a Teams Supporters can win you a League/ Cup (Istanbul) and it can also "LOSE" you a League/ Cup. You are reacting exactly like the Media wants you too!
So get ye "F--KIN CHINS UP" it ain't ever over till the "fat lady sings".

"Belief is "GREATER" than Doubt".
YNWA.

Mr Bond, I have stopped caring about such people. These are the same people who moan that we have not had a right shot at the title in a while. Then when we are in the thick of a title race vs the most expensive team ever seen in England with a 50/ 50 chance of winning it and things are not going your way, they then moan and whine about how things are not going their way and then give up and throw in the towel. These people can NEVER be pleased. It does not matter what happens. These are people who are only interested in the glory, not the guts, blood, sweat and tears it takes to get it.

As Ed25 said, they are the REAL "bottlers", gutless cowards who would rather wallow in their own self pity and defeatist crouch, than dare to dream and stay the course. They then pollute the SM forums and drag others down with them cos as you know, misery loves company. I choose to support my team till the end and I ain't stopping now.

{Ed025's Note - today was not great redwolf, but this race is far from over and the reds have had an excellent season so far, i cant believe the defeatist attitude on here and for me you are still well in the mix mate..

Couldn't agree more we are punching just above our weight an have all season with this squad, too much reliability on salah, it's not today that cost us it's games also against Leicester, West ham and United 3 games no wins says too me an seems the case we peaked early and our squad has not been good enough too last the distance or pick up the pace when needed, but we are still a point off top an lost once all season can't say we haven't progressed.

We definitely progressed from last year . Last season we finished on 75 points, we already on 70 with 9 games to go (I am expecting no less than 20 points from these remaining 9 games . no blind faith or dirty red tinted glasses . just number crunching based on past results) . so yes we have much improved and hopefully end of season I'll be proven right .
By the way city will drop points . their achilles heel is the week on 20th April . wait and see.

Hailstones today is the crucial day, the league title was in our hands and now it is not. Those games were important but from today we rely on someone else to slip up. It may happen, it may not, but we have done a great job this season anyway.

007 you are 100% correct. This is far from over. I still believe we will win the league. There is no doubt in my mind.

Hailstones

But we had the chance to improve the squad in the summer and also in January! Why did we not do anything and kept relying on Salah! Whose at fault there? What is progress according to you if it’s not about winning any trophy year in year out? Are we the next arsenal or spurs lol! Why do we call spurs a bottler?

Hailstones, you talk as if the season is over. Could we have done better in some games? Of course BUT that is why a season is the way it is. It is a roller-coaster ride with ups and downs and bumps on the road. The thing to do when that is happening is to stay the course and make sure that you give yourself a fighting chance down the stretch which we have more than given ourselves at this time. I am not one to dwell on games we did not win cos each game has it's own history and context. Whether we peaked early or not, I don't know cos the injuries started in Jan and that stifled us big time while in other games, you are not quite on it and like I said, it is part of the process. You can't ignore that, man.

Ed25, I agree that we could have done more today BUT at least we did more than we did vs Utd last week so there is that. We created the chances needed to win today BUT we fluffed our lines. Vs Utd, we did none of that so again, that is an improvement. What frustrated me the most were the subs. The less said about them the better.

I mean, only a defeatist LFC fan will throw in the towel when his team is one point behind the most expensive team in domestic league history. Those are the types of people we are dealing with, man. People rooting for us to fail so thay can come here and gloat yet they spot BS like "I am entitled to my opinion". Sorry, if you are rooting for us to fail then you have NO opinion. You have an agenda, get it? As for me, I ain't stopping now. I am with these lads and manager til the end. Peace!

You forgetting how much money Liverpool have spent in recent times, Harry? money isn't grown on tree's mate.

We're clearly not Arsenal or Spurs, the big difference is, we've done nothing but improve every season since Klopp came in. What's there to moan about? 5+ years ago people would've begged to see Liverpool in this position, competing for the title. Now we are, people are just pointing the finger at everything and anything. How about appreciate how far we've come, get behind the team and hope for the best? the team needs our support right now, more than ever.

We can go on until we're blue in the face about what we should've and could've done in the past but that means nothing because that's history.

Harry, I like you as a poster, you're the opposite to me and bring something different to the table but you only seem to surface when we aren't doing so well. I don't get that?

Salah

I was right here after the Watford game and persisted the importance of TAA to our system. I have said before the kick of that this line up is “ avoid defeat “ line up. We have zero goals from midfield. It’s easy for any team to mark out Salah and they know we don’t have one to score!

When Everton see that team sheet though Ed025 it must give them confidence. They know Liverpool's midfield won't be a threat in terms of goals. Everton know if they match Liverpool's midfield for effort then they can't hurt them.

I am still positive but please posters stop banging on about lost only one games, it is how many points you drop.

We have progressed hailstones because we spent £250m what did you expect?

{Ed025's Note - there is a problem with midfield mark and your right they dont contribute enough goal wise, its all about the front 3 with liverpool and when they dont fire you have problems mate, irrespective of how this season ends up that has to be addressed..

Sport on mark! Klopp has spent over 400M and 3 and half year to build he's side compare to most of he's rivals.

The next step for klopp is to win trophies.

I agree we should be more proactive in the transfer market and we do need more invention in midfield especially in January when we could gain an advantage but klopp is not a big fan of rocking the boat but having said all that we have still progressed without the midfield being upgraded but summer we need too address this, this is why I was gutted we never got fekir.
