If you can’t support us when we lose or draw. don’t support us when we win!
“Bill Shankly”.

{Ed0333's Note - well said longthing.

Totally agree.

However, when we play poorly, or a player plays poorly, or the manager makes shocking subs we can highlight them and rant about it.

I've said it loads of times, the draws against Leicester and west ham would cost us. Hopefully at some point city slip up again.

Pointing out problems with a team does not constitute not supporting a team. If anything the hurt, and subsequent criticism/ reaction following an adverse result, demonstrates support as it demonstrates genuine passion and care for the team (though sometimes misguided i. e. the poster suggesting we sell Salah) .

That doesn't mean we aren't entitled to a view.

Klopp made absolutely terrible decisions. Saying that doesn't mean we aren't being supportive.
And I'm tired of his excuses. Today it's the wind. People complained about Benitez, but Klopp has been as bad. Always an excuse after every game. Disappointing.

True but that doesn’t mean that constructive discussion/ criticism should be deemed disloyal. We’ve been fantastic this season but I think the world and his wife know, being honest, we’re just not quite there yet in terms of a title winning side. We’ll still go close but there’s just something panicky, rather than confidence in our ability about us. So hope I’ll be proven wrong.

Bring back Hodgson and hicks then? Lol

For me it's Red or dead but that does not mean we can not give our opinion.

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I assure you, it's much more serious than that! "Bill Shankly" love Shanks but it just shows even big man got few things wrong tho.

City favourites now, as we were before today's game. poor today, and what frustrates more is that most of the poor play is just so careless. hopefully we can still do it but city could lose 3 games and still win the league if our midfield and forward line don't improve. badly want to still believe. YNWA!

Criticism is fine. Fans wanting to sell one of our best players because a keeper saved he shots is madness!
And we still got a lot of games to go. Anything can happen.

Take a chill pill.

We are well placed in the title race.

We are going to be in the mix right to the end.

No one has a clue how it will finish.

Citeh are favourites as they were at the start of the season. No one gave us a chance of closing the points margin from last season But we have.

Having got the United and Everton games out of the way I think we will push on now.

This month is tough and April will be tougher but come May we will be there.

I think Citeh will drop points due to FA Cup and Champions League runs. We won’t drop as many points as Citeh.

Support the team all the way.

They bloody deserve it.

You cannot blame klopp for the results, salah matip and fabihno all had scorable chances. Not buying in january could be the biggest mistake by klopp all season.

{Ed0333's Note - it was another bad day at the office that’s all mate. We were outstanding against watford. We have the personell but lack execution.

Who would of thought with 9 games too go we would be a point behind city, we have done amazing too be in this position, beaten once all season, we don't have the devine right too win anything and if it's not meant too be we don't deserve it, but one thing is for sure we have progressed and as said above win, lose, or draw we support the team as negativity is ridiculous!

{Ed0333's Note - 1 point behind in the league and don’t forget we are absolutely capable of winning the champions league also. Let’s not abandon hope just yet all is not lost

Was Everton’s cup final gave it their all they might finish 9th after all moneys spent we can’t do anymore then we did wasted chances and again i say we can’t rely on others doing us favours if city win it it’s cus they fully deserve it! It’s been a great season hopefully we stuff Bayern!

Can we stop with this, "who would've thought we would be. "
We were in a position of advantage, we lost the advantage. Going from 7 points ahead to 1 point behind, while drawing games we should win and Klopp making awful decisions shouldn't justify the "we didn't think we could win the league" narrative.

03 Mar 2019 21:03:12
Well, what do we make of that,
The last 3 away performance’s against WHAM, MANU and EVERTON are worrying, all lethargic, pedestrian and wasteful in possession, how can you go from Wednesday performance against WATFORD, which should of gave them bags of confidence but then they turn in a performance like that, to me something doesn’t sit right, at the minute we’re limping through this title race when we should be playing with bags of confidence, you only have to look at the WATFORD performance, it like chalk and cheese at the minute. we need to wake up and smell the coffee before it’s to late.

{Ed0333's Note - I thought we were horrid against west ham and united but at least we showed some fight against Everton and illustrates we won’t give up this title without a battle.

People need to see the bigger picture here, some of the posts are embarrassing. I'm as gutted as the rest of you about today's result but it's not the end of the world and it's not even close to been over for us, people saying that are just making up nonsense. Overall this team IS capable, we've had some unfortunate injuries and a dodgy patch but still only lost the one game, 1 point behind City yet we're down and out? give over! with 9 games remaining and a point off top now is the time to really get behind the team we love and support, today's game is gone, it's done, we move on and focus on Burnley. Liverpool don't do things the easy way!

On a side note, credit to Everton, they got a point from us, it's a big point for them so credit where due.

Remember, it's only a football game ;) there's much more important things than a bloody football game so get over it and move on.

Agreed Salah.
No one wants to play football against us, it’s ten man defences virtually every game now.
And reading this ‘where was the gegenpress’ stuff today - pressing isn’t going to do you much good when their keeper and last defender hump it straight up the park, is it?

{Ed0333's Note - I thought we could have pressed more when they had the ball in the middle. They couldn’t keep hold of it mind due to errant touches and misplaced passes this is where I feel Keita would have had a field day. Breaking lines and creating, overlaps, 3 v 2’s etc etc.

The people saying "we are also entitled to give an opinion and should not be called disloyal cos we did" should give over, please cos it is becoming tedious and boring. NOBODY is saying you cannot criticize the manager and the players for screw-ups cos clearly, there was enuff of that in this game and other games. That is clearly NOT the debate.

What we are saying is that people can criticize w/ o going OTT and overboard with embarrassing, petulant, spoiled brat comments trashing the players, manager and others cos we did not take our chances. That is NOT an opinion. That is slander, end of. I am sure people know the diff. so enuff with the righteous indignation that is not even warranted.

We did not take our chances today and that is what cost us the game, end of. There is NOTHING Klopp can do if people are missing sitters like Matip and Fab or if Salah's touch is letting him down. That's football, as frustrating as it might be. What we have to do now is regroup and get ready for Burnley cos trust me, it's going to be even HARDER against them cos they are the new West Brom to some extent. NOTHING is decided yet and even Pep himself will tell you that. Let's win all our games and then what will be, will be. Up Da Reds!
