So in last 4 games (including 2 of our most difficult rival away games) we have stopped Bayern Munich, Man U (away), Watford and Everton (away) from scoring and we haven't lost a game.

Now the pressure is off as we are chasing city (by a whole one point! )

Deep breaths everyone.

{Ed0333's Note - let’s hope by the time city play united their injury crisis would have cleared up. Sanchez can stay injured if he wants tho as he’ll be more of a hinderence than a threat.

Ed 0333 we were poor today. Klopp bottled it with the starting midfield and the subs very very negative. Trent was brilliant v Watford and crap today. That seems to happen too often with our players Mane, Salah the same. Great or crap.

{Ed0333's Note - I agree I felt we could have gone more attacking with the starting line up. I was super surprised Keita didn’t play I’m sure he’ll get the nod against Bayern.

It's the fear from klopp to loose a game by playing it safe with his like for like subs.

Klopps subs were terrible. No idea why Lallana made it onto the pitch bit like Utd game when Sturridge made it on. Clearly Sturridge and Lallana have no real future at the club. Let’s see against Bayern.

Don't know what's happened with Keita I thought he was beginning to show some form. I hope we haven't bought the room on the wrong night ed! Bet ed025 is enjoying his southern comfort. Take it easy could be a rough night.

I don't mind us playing conservatively in the beginning of the season, but in my opinion, now is the time to go for it. We weren't supposed to win the league this year anyway, so just go for it. Our defense is good enough to keep us in the matches, so just go for broke. The time is now. I still think we will win the league and will continue to do so.

It's a shame though. Out of the Carling cup and FA Cup in the first round.
Leicester and WestHam were woeful matches. I still think he shouldn't have let Clyne leave when he did.
And then not playing Keita/ Shaqiri today was unwise. Everyone and their dogs knew Everton would settle for a draw. Why play Henderson and Fabinho. Lallana shouldn't be anywhere near the team again.
Klopp's decisions have cost us a lot this season. It may be another trophyless one.

{Ed0333's Note - we still have two of the biggest prizes in football to play for mate. Keep the faith.

We won't win the league playing like that stone. In this game and agains't Man U we were so negative. Same as v Man City twice seems we are scared to lose instead of taking the game and smashing it. Mentally weak has been mentioned I hope it is not the case.

I don't have a prob. with the lineup even tho Keita should have started or come on instead the pointless Lallana. Having said that, we are one point behind City and the last time I checked with 9 games to go, we are NOT out of the race regardless of the frustrations of today. We are right in the thick of it. Had we even won, NOTHING would have been decided so I'm not sweating it.

What we need now is just relax and improve in the next game. It has nothing to do with mental weakness as that is a bunch of hogwash. You don't get to where we got to right now this season in the PL w/ o being mentally tough. Cos we fluffed our chances in front of goal means nothing cos well, it is football and that can happen. City have fluffed their chances a few times this season and lost ALL those games so are they mentally weak too? On to Burnley.

So we are fine with “we have lost only once this season” it’s commendable to hear more and more excuses on here!
