Question for ed002. Does Man City going with puma over their Nike shirt sponsor, open up a potential gap for Nike to approach Liverpool?

{Ed002's Note - Nike are talking with another side and Liverpool have held some discussions with New Balance but may well want to see if others are interested.}

Thanks ed. would be nice to see us in a nike kit. I read the potential new balance- new contract- could end up record breaking? That was before this new puma deal with city however.

{Ed002's Note - It will be significant.}

Nike kits are dreadful. They take the same 2 or 3 templates and just recycle them with minor changes.

Spot on, Smeg. Nike kits are awful.

I quite like the idea of a nike kit. As long as we don't have one like the Chelsea and Spurs third kit we'll be alright lol.

{Ed002's Note - You would prefer the Galatasaray or Barcelona 3rd kit then?}

Nike kits are dreadful, but money isn’t. So there is that.

My sons new balance kits have peeled off on the labels which is a shame as i'd like to keep them for sentiment. Nike or adidas please.

Would love to see us back in an Adidas kit, to be fair more than happy with NB. Not a massive fan of the Nike kits.

I am really up for Adidas, loved the the one that Alonso wore, my fave Liverpool shirt, I think that it would bring us good luck .

Anything but Nike. Would rather we just use body paint than get into a deal with them. Their kits are utterly atrocious. They're all the same and even when they're 'different' it's the same. Would much rather stick with new balance. I can't think of a single kit Nike has made that I thought was even ok. and I'd be happy to hear some examples to prove me wrong.
