Just read your review of the United game, Ed001. I'm curious what Sturridge got the 1.5 marks for? Lacing his boots the right way? ;)

I strongly agree re Origi, he has to play as a central striker up against the CBs. While Shaq should be playing up the right wing as against Newcastle and Arsenal instead of coming deep to get the ball and running around in circles to nowhere.
Really hoping if either or both start tonight that they will carry out our wishes. And that Sturridge remains firmly planted on the bench for the remainder of the season.

{Ed001's Note - I am not sure he did have them on the right foot or laced properly....}

He put his shirt on the right way around and his socks were on the correct feet 0.75 for each.

The fact that Rashford on one leg, put in more effort and ran more sprints than a fit Studge did, is all you need to know how dreadful he was. He gets a 0 for that alone. He needs to go so we can move on to other things.

I get the impression Origi is trying to mimic Firmino's variety of movement without really understanding it.

He'd be best off concentrating on engaging the CBs, and running into the channels when he's allowed space.

{Ed025's Note - he,d be best off...at accrington SR.. :)

Ha, I'd been wondering recently why Origi had been used more than Sturridge. And the Studge came off the bench vs manU and it became clear.

Or Everton, 25?

Digs aside, he's got the raw materials to be a decent player. Pace, power, decent finisher and his technique is good enough. His movement just let's him down.

I think he's out of contract at the end of the season and will probably leave anyway.

{Ed025's Note - unfortunately SR studge is like the tin man from the wizard of oz mate .....he does,nt have a heart, he has ability of that there is no doubt, but most of the time he just cant be arsed and half of the time he says hes injured its just an excuse..

It may have been excuses in the past, but now, I think Sturridge may very well have become genuinely physically unable for the Premier League. Maybe, maybe if he got a run of games he'd learn to adapt his game to not having any pace anymore, cos he's technically still one of the best players around, and he might get another couple of years. But it's unlikely, and he's certainly not going to get that chance at Liverpool.

I was talking about Origi though :p.

{Ed025's Note - oh right sorry....but hes just as bad mate.. :)

Funny but true ed025 regarding Sturridge, he has only really had 1 decent season with Liverpool and the reason for that was playing alongside Suarez.
I know Suarez was a rat with his antics but he was so driven that season that he lifted the players atround him. Sturridge has done nothing since, for the reasons you have given.

{Ed025's Note - i think so greenflash, he was afforded so much space because suarez ran defenders ragged, rat of a person but one hell of a talent mate..
