Ed1, what's your opinion on our current situation? Do you think we've been found out?

Maybe it's confidence within the team?

Are players confused on tactics?

My honest opinion, I think injuries hit us bad at a time we were hitting good form and as a knock on effect, it has maybe took a bit of confidence out of the team.

I remember last season you said klopp didn't trust his substitutions, has he maybe lost confidence in the bench at this crucial time of the season?

I'm not trying to be negative, just a bit confused as to what has happened.

{Ed001's Note - Klopp played it safe as he has a terrible record at Old Trafford, that is all that happened. The players had all gone in there determined not to lose, the team was picked not to lose and then, when the chance was there to do more, no one was able to shake off the mindset, especially Klopp. It might turn out to be the point that makes the difference at the end of the season.}

Klopp has been playing safe since the start of the season and not just at OT. He played safe against City who he has the best record for any manager. Our mentality of “not to lose” is one aspect of the change in our style to play. We have hardly blown teams away (which includes relegation fodder as well)
I am not sure why he can’t trust his substitutes. Most of those are his own purchases and some are on extended contracts given by him. This is not his first year for
Klopp. It’s his fourth. The team is his.
I have said below, the klopp of last year would have blown both City and UTD. As you know there is a huge amount of pressure on him to deliver the league and he has sacrificed all other trophies for this. That’s another reason for playing it safe.
We should have done the job at Ethihad in January and City would have given up on the league for CL.

{Ed001's Note - I am sorry but that is a lie. Not even in the slightest bit true and shows a complete lack of insight. We have not blown teams away because they are terrified of being blown away and all of them, except for 3, have just sat in deep and looked to stop Liverpool. Those that have not just sat deep are City, Spurs and Arsenal, who we did blow away.

As for the subs, one game he didn't trust his subs and you are now claiming that is every week. Nonsense. You have clearly just been waiting for a chance to whine as usual because he never bought the players you wanted, such as Kovacic.

What you said below was nonsense. Last season's team would have done nothing different, except conceded a hell of a lot more goals and thrown away more points.}

Well I have no complaints in not buying Kovacic or Jorginho. Happy with Fabinho and Keita. Let’s agree to disagree there has been a change in the approach which is to play safe and not to lose.

{Ed001's Note - no let's not. Let's just accept you are talking out of your backside as we clearly have gone for it more by putting an extra man up top, which is the complete opposite of playing it safe.}

I am sorry but when did we blew city away this season? Thanks to Mahrez it would have been a double over us! We were utter cautious on both the occasions against city. Thankfully Pep was also cautions this time around!

{Ed001's Note - I said we blew Arsenal away. Please just stop now. All you do is overreact like a teenager going through puberty. You really should have been called Kevin because that is exactly who you remind me of.}

The klopp of last year had liverpool scraping 4th. The klopp of this year had liverpool fighting for the title. Think about it.

The klopp of last year did not had Keita, Fabinho, Allison, Shaqiri and Gomez.
Now add that with high counter press. Think about it.

'We should have done the job at Ethihad in January and City would have given up on the league for CL. '

Lol what makes you think City would've given up in January if they lost to us? come off it Harry, they'd of kept trying no matter what. We didn't win but guess what? we're still 1st mate, enjoy it, stop moaning and enjoy the moment!

It really baffles me when people are having nothing but digs at the team when we're doing bloody brilliant! this is the finest season we've had in a very long time, people should be a lot happier.

Salah
City were on the back foot and a win at ethihad would open up 10 points gap which would have shifted their priorities to CL. We gifted them the win by playing negative football and we started slipping form there.
Had we won at Ethihad we wouldn’t have dropped our head against Leicester and Westham!

added 4 players and an academy player that has turned us into title contenders. I'll take that.

"I am not sure why he can’t trust his substitutes. Most of those are his own purchases and some are on extended contracts given by him. "

Huh? Sunday's 7 subs: Mignolet, Trent, Keita, Lallana, Shaqiri, Origi, Sturridge.
Players signed by Klopp: 2
Players on long-term contracts: 3

I'm no mathematician, but 2/ 7 and 3/ 7 = uhm.

How do you know we wouldn't of dropped our heads against them Harry? You're just playing guess work at the moment mate.
