Nothing being reported yet but i can't imagine him being risked on Wed even if it is only a minor injury. The big dilemma then is who starts up front. For me it has to be Salah and Mane as a 2 with Kieta playing a free 10 role just behind them and then a midfield 3. As harsh as it sounds Origi and Sturridge are not good enough to maintain the level we can play at. This season both have contributed 1 moment each and apart from that they have offered nothing else. We need another top forward in the summer who can rotate with the front 3. 4 forwards into 3 positions means they could roughly start 40 games each out of 60 and that doesn't include the option of bringing whichever one of them is on the bench on as a sub to freshen us up.

{Ed025's Note - i agree JK..

JK I agree and that’s what we should have done yesterday instead of bringing on Sturridge.

Against watford both Shaqiri and Kieta should come in.

Firmino (sigh) and Hendo (Not a hater. just think Wijnaldum/ Fabinho is tried and tested) out for me.

I read somewhere that Firmino left the stadium, after the game, on crutches. If that's accurate, then it's highly unlikely we're going to see him on Wednesday. I'd rather start Shaqiri on the right wing with Salah and Mane. We are playing too narrow up front and need to stretch out the opposition. Keita's forte is bringing the ball up the middle, and we don't want that area too congested with our own players. And I would bring on Origi every time, before Sturridge. He simply no longer has that burst of acceleration that got him past players or that fine tuned shot from distance.

Interesting to see how ManC will play if Fernandinho can't play again soon due to injury. I don't wish injuries on any player ever, but it's factual that they are not the same team without him.

I third that. I was screaming at the tv for this to happen. But i suppose it's easy when your in the armchair.

Come on lads next game 3 points and that's all we should be thinking.

Fernandino out for 3 weeks apparently, loss for them if true.

Bobby won't play tmrw, that's for sure. Also, if he was on crutches, it may just mean that it was done as a precaution so as NO weight be put on the ankle. We will see how he responds to treatment and hopefully, the swelling goes down.

As for Wed, Klopp could go for Mane or Salah up top in a diamond OR go with Shaq and Mane or Salah up top with Mane or Salah on the left and Shaq on the right with Naby in behind and Fab/ Hendo sitting or Fab/ Wiji sitting. The options are there, really.

I'd go with a front 2 and add Keita to the same 3 midfielders from Sunday. Then bring Shaq in midway through the 2nd half to give Henderson a rest before Sunday's match. I'd also think about Milner at left back and give Robertson a rest.

Not a bad shout with Milly at LB, Stone cos Robbo needs a blow, man.

I don't think Origi has been bad in the limited amount of minutes he's had, certainly showed more than Sturridge. Plus he gives more of a target for our mostly aimless crossing.
