Does anyone else feel like people are paying too much respect to United?
Yes they've had a great turn turnaround since OGS came in but I also think they've been lucky.
Spurs should have beaten them. It was only an unbelievable (even by his standards) display by De Gea that got them a lucky win.
Burnley should have beaten them.
An under strength PSG did beat them.
They're definitely playing better but defensively they are all over the place.
They've had an incredibly favourable run of games since Mourinho's departure.

Cardiff
Huddersfield
Bournemouth
Newcastle
Spurs
Brighton
Arsenal
Burnley
Leicester
Fulham

They demolished Cardiff, Bournemouth and Huddersfield but the rest could have gone either way. Even the Arsenal game who have in Mustafi the worst defender out of any of the top 6 sides.

I'm surprised by the lack of confidence going into this game by our fans. I feel like we're going to give them a hiding that has been on the cards for a while.
The only thing that could stop this is De Gea.

I think they have played well under OGS and I think Liverpools players will be nervous. Ever since OGS came in it's been a case of other teams fans saying it was only Cardiff, it was only Huddersfield, it was only Brighton, it was only an unlucky Spurs. If Liverpool don't play well tomorrow it will be a case of thier fans saying it was only Liverpool. United won't get a hiding tomorrow. 2-2 for me.

If out want United, i think everyone would agree with you. The fact that these games stand alone outwith the context of a normal league game, coupled with them in decent form and high spirits, makes people worry. Not me though, i reckon we'll stuff them and go on and win the league.

Should start "if it wasn't United"

Liverpool's players will be nervous. but United's players who need the points to stay in the top 4 going into March won't have a care in the world? Big difference in doing the business when nothings expected of you compared to somehow being most people's favourites against the best team in the league.

The number of times that De Gea saves with his feet because the striker plays the ball on the ground, lift the ball a couple of feet in the air that will stop him saving the ball that is on the floor, he must of saved a least four against Spuds with his feet.

Ollie Gunnar Solskjaer = OGs (own goals in Football Abbreviation) let's hope we win by an OG the best way to win a game is when the opposition scores the winner for YOU?

I agree about this fixture usually but who in their team understands the passion of a Liverpool Utd derby?
Young? Rashford?
Their big players don't.
Pogba wants to leave. Sanchez doesn't want to be there.

The 70000 fans first of all will set the tone that this is very much a fierce derby. You could say the same about us, Trent being the only local boy. Football is gone this way but both sets of fans will never let the players forget the importance of these fixtures. going to be a belter.

Yeah, it’s complete luck, United are bang average. Since Ole took over United have won more games, scored more goals (apart from City) conceded fewer goals, created more chances and gained more points than anyone else. He’s a lucky sod isn’t he? Yes yes we’ve won away at Arsenal, Spurs, and Chelsea but they’re all awful so there’s no credit there. 11 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss is a dreadful record, but better than anyone else’s over the last 13games. Funny that

I have no idea what the result will be but I do know we’ll give you a game, something we didn’t last time. Klopp has created a happy camp who believe in each other, in a couple of months Ole has done the same at United.

We will walk into Old Trafford with our heads held high with utd the underdogs. Thdy will have to come and play, they will want to and that leaves space. I reckon klopp will go with the trusted milly hendo and gini. Fab has been great, he has also played some bad dangerous infield passes.

In fairness Ole has them playing some nice stuff and actually as a team again. Since he took over I think their form has been the best in the league, followed by us and City.

I wouldn't say luck then as they've played some good teams too and yes Spurs would've beat them (if they didn't hit every shot right at DDG) but I wouldn't under estimate them tbh

Be a tough enough game, though coming from a family of Utd ones I would obv love to thrash them lol.

OGS has had them playing well, no doubt. All that won't mean jack when the first whistle goes. It will be the reality of the field that will matter then. We are on the cusp of winning the PL if we do our boss and the players know that. What Utd is doing in terms of consistency after over half a season, our boys have been doing ALL season long so what will change? Cos it's Utd? NO.

Klopp does not coach that way. He himself said it. You don't give the game any more importance than it deserves. That is what our boys have been doing al season so again, why should our approach change cos it's Utd. I ain't buying it.
Our boys will be ready and raring to go and provided we start fast like we did vs City and take the first couple of chances that come our way, we will have a chance to win. LET'S GO!

I pretty much said what you did AJH. This "it's only. " attitude is wrong. OGS has your lot ticking and it will be a great game.

No match in the Premier League is a easy one. You can't be lucky 10 games in a row. Its going to be a though away game, against a team of players full of confidence. 3 points today would be massive.

Well he gave you 2 examples in spurs and Burnley. I don't believe in luck against spurs cos de gea was class, that's not luck. That's a player putting in a world class performance for his team, no different than a striker getting a hat trick.

Burnley they drew with 2 late goals, again not luck, that's grinding out a result. I see his point though, he referencing all the bottom half teams ye have faced and ye played Chelsea and arsenal at the right time. Credit where it's due OGS is winning games but I do still feel this United team can be vulnerable. It's set up perfectly for a proper high stakes derby.
