I know this is a bit of a hypothetical question, but the last 2 seasons Klopp has picked up a bargain from one relegated team, who does everyone think has the potential to play for us from the likes of Huddersfiel and two from Fulham, Newcastle, Cardiff, Southampton, Burnley, Brighton (I'd consider them to be in the dogfight considering their form) . A good, talented, cheap squad player to add depth to our squad.
Thoughts?

I was thinking the same last week- who would you go for from a relegated side?

Huddersfield- no idea
Fulham- Sessegnon
Cardiff - no idea
Southampton - Ward Prowse
Burnley - Heaton

Everton? .

I’m pretty confident Heaton is united through and through, possibly Pope would be more keen on being backup? Other than that Sessegnon and Wan-Bissaka would be excellent.

Crap, forgot Wan-Bissaka.

Yeah Sessegnon and Wan-Bissaka is the only ones I'd pick personally.

Longstaff seems to have started well in premier league life for Newcastle, presses well at least.

Richarlison would be excellent!

{Ed001's Note - he is dreadful.}

I think the domestic purchase for this summer will be a homegrown goalkeeper- any of Heaton or Pope who is available.

I don’t see anyone else coming in except maybe a backup full back, but can’t think of who the right guy is amongst the relegation favourites.

Florian Lejeune for me. Would be a cheap 3rd or 4th choice CB. But I’m not sure Newcastle will be relegated to be honest.

I think Ryan Fraser from Bournemouth is a very good player. i'd like him.
Fabian schar from newcastle as the backup CB. The tall dane from soto is also a good CB. Donot like either of Ben mee or Taraowski too much.
we need someone at LW and i agree with other that Sessegnon is the best option amont the relegation teams.

Wan Bissaka, Sessegnon and maybe Billing from Huddersfield would be my choices.

Lots of people saying Sessegnon. i know he’s still young but after such an impressive showing in the championship last year I was of the impression he hadn’t really cut it in the PL this season? Admittedly I haven’t seen a lot of Fulham recently though but I know he was in and out of the team at the start of the season. Anyone Ed or otherwise got a better update on his progress?

{Ed001's Note - he has done ok but the club splashed out in January, panic buys, rather than sticking with him.}

I think in the right team he'd thrive, his time at Fulham is coming to an end, I see a big club snapping him up in the summer because he clearly has the quality and the potential to be even better, it'll be interesting to see where he ends up.
