I know nothing about baseball, but I've been hearing that the current Red Sox team is the greatest in history. How do the two compare?

I'm a HUGE Red Sox fan and can't stand the Yankees, so for me to say this is very painful, but the '27 Yankess are generally considered the greatest of all time. I'd say that this past season for the red sox was the greatest of this century so far though.

and that surprises me Ed because I'd of never guessed! I also know nothing about baseball so it made it that bit more interesting. You clearly researched a hell of a lot, thank you for the continuous hard work mate. Quality, absolute quality stuff.

{Ed001's Note - I am surprised at that. But it did mean I phrased things differently, as baseball tends to be full of lots of little acronyms, such as ERA, with absolutely no explanation of what they all mean! I ended up leaving out loads of the stats as they were just so boring and just tried to find out what I could about the people instead.}

Yeah I get what you mean Ed mate, tbh most of the stats I probably wouldn't even understand! but that article at least has interesting information and that to me is what an article is all about, nothing worse then reading a boring article when it's going nowhere, like most sites publish!

What's the next article mate? or is it a case of what's finished next? as I know you are probably in the process of many lol.
