I like that midfield today potential first choice combination , fabihno has too Be one of first names on team sheet it's criminal if he isn't, amazing player a defensive midfielder who loves a pass we are blessed!

I think Keita playing with gini and Fabinho is allowed more freedom as those two could capably play cm together without a third. The extra man just helps pressing and the build up play. A little more of that tenacious side that he had at rbl was shown today too which is good as he has appeared lightweight so far.

Looked from match of the day that Firmino played up top and Salah on right. I know they interchange but imo Klopp should start them in these positions for rest of season if possible.

Again the un sung hero is Wijnaldum. He’s often played deep and been brilliant for us. But today he demonstrated what an attacking threat he can also be.

If we see the player at rb Leipzig naby will take us onto a different level, rite now we only seeing 2nd gear if he can get into 4th or 5th we in for such a treat .

{Ed0333's Note - I reckon he was in 3rd gear at least today hailstones no?

I’ve got a theory here. After running out of steam last season, is Klopp holding back our normal front 3 (Bobby through the middle, Salah and mane on either side) for the run in?

Make the rest think we have reverted to a 4-2-3-1 and then bring back last years line up?

You thought we were gone? Well we’re not!

Hello! 😀👋.

Is an unsung hero who gets man of the match still an unsung hero?

just watched his old videos, he gets man handled a lot with his style of play. He's used to heavy contact just not the level of the premier league. He should adapt physically eventually. He probably feels like his power has been nerfed and he can't do what he used to do. So in a way we kind of do only have half the player keita used to be until he gets stronger. Lucas leiva was very similar, he adapted physically and then he finally started doing things right.

I heard his transmission fluid is too cold. He can't shift into 3rd gear until it warms up.

I really liked the midfield today and reckon it’s perhaps the beginning of a changing of the guard. The three worked together well and with Fabinho’s defensive cover and ability to dictate from deep, Gini’s close control and Keita’s Ball carrying skills, they complemented each other really well.

Also really enjoyed seeing Firmino back upfront. Horses for courses, but Salah got so much more time on the ball out on the right and looked just as dangerous.

Can’t wait for Gomez to be back and Trent to be fully fit and our top back 4 to be fit and firing, then think we will be very difficult to beat into the closing matches.

Great win boys, fantastic to see a game where we won comfortably and could have scored another 3 or 4 easily.

Agree with you ED I thought Keita played very well today and was involved a lot both offensively and defensively. Hopefully he continues this upward trajectory of improvement, the lad clearly has ability.

I hear he has a 7 speed gearbox so plenty more to come?

Smeg i should have elaborated more. What i meant was Wijnaldum has been the unsung hero of the past. Many fans were clambering for the return of Hendo to the midfield to sort us out and he hardly got a mention.

Hahaha love some of the gearbox responses, soz ed yes he definitely was in 3rd today, if we get him consistently into 4 and 5 are insurance premiums are going through the roof!

{Ed0333's Note - if he’s in 4th or 5th gear for the rest of the season mate that’s the title wrapped up.
