Very sad news about Sala but at least he’s family have got him back and can have a funeral. ☹️.

Cheers as always Ed. Do you think uefa/ FIFA will ever be clean of corruption? The fact that it is so blatant is alarming.

My condolences go out to the family and friends of Sala and the pilot on board. Such a sad situation. Hopefully now they can have some sort of closure.

It’s because he carried on after having been sent off. It might outstrip the crime, but the ref is obviously and visibly being undermined. It’s kind of what the reffing association is like anyway. Thick skinned until someone questions their integrity.

Klipperty’s - Sadly, unaccountable authorities with such large influence and so few stakeholders able to ask questions only go one way, and that way is to go corrupt. There is no disincentive for such entities, which are largely untouchable in many of the things they do, to remain transparent and above board. It actually benefits the people of whom those entities are comprised of to be be opaque and shady.
It is not just FIFA, even supposed ‘goodwill’ organizations like the U. N. have been rife with corruption throughout the years.
