A quick question Ed001, who can you see replacing Klopp in the (hopefully far off) future? Or, rather, who would you personally like to see?

May be impossible to say as a lot can change by that time. I would personally love and hope that Klopp has another 10 years at least with us.

A lot of people (including myself) would want Gerrard to take the reigns after Jurgen. Could you see this?

{Ed001's Note - I hope not. It would be a stupid move made because of who he is rather than what he can do. I would rather the club thought with their head than their heart.}

If gerrard has proven himself by the time klopp leaves then that wpuld be great. However, I do think the club would give him a go no matter what if he wants it. He's clearly not doing a terrible job, Rangers haven't done this well for a long time, I know he has been well backed but he has still had to go and do it. His press conferences are Brendan level though and he clearly thinks himself as some wordsmith.

It could all end up like Thierry Henry at Monaco!

Stevie could walk in and have the solsjkaer effect that lasts a decade or 2.who knows!

{Ed025's Note - it would not be the same effect faith...OGS actually smiles..

For me I hope Gerrard is not Liverpool manager now or in the near future, im not someone who is blinded to who he really is, a bit of a bully and a showoff according to those better in the know then me
For me I want someone who is tactically astute and who can attract big players via the football he plays not just his reputation
someone like Ralf Rangnick or Julien Naglesmann would suit me fine or
depending how he developed Mark Van Bommel.

Please, Gerrard should stay well away from the manager's job at LFC UNTIL he can prove he can do it at the highest level and it WON'T be at Rangers. The day of "let's get a club legend to manage the club" are long gone, my friend. We need competence and ability, not emotion and nostalgia. We are competing at the highest level right now in the PL and CL and we need managers who can take the heat. SG has to prove that first.

I personally would like Lucien Favre of Dortmund. He is a brilliant manager and is well-known all over Europe as one who improves teams and players wherever he has been. Proof? He got Munchegladbach to the CL twice. Did the same once with Nice (lost in the prelim. KO round) and is now top of the Bundesliga in Germany with BVB. He would be my choice. What do you think of him, Ed01?

{Ed001's Note - done well everywhere he has been, so he would be a decent enough choice right now.}

Not a hope Gerard he’s done nothing yet!
