Ok ed01 there still are negative fans but its a relief to see the rallying cry. let's win this my brother's nd sister's let's start by giving Bournemouth hell this Saturday! We are Liverpool tralalalala.

{Ed001's Note - I am really confused as I thought we drew but the reaction tells me we have lost everything so I can't be right...}

I thought you'd of heard by now, we've already lost the league. The team is crap, the manager is crap, the owners are crap, everything is just bloody crap! so let's slate them until they get the message ;) .

{Ed001's Note - I am beginning to think something is wrong. I can't do a match review as so many people on here have made out we have lost, the game, the league, the world cup, the world series and the super bowl at the weekend, but the only game I have seen we drew. I must have been watching the wrong game and I can't find the right one....}

{Ed001's Note - I forgot about that! There really is no point any more is there?}

It's ridiculous.
Just thinking back to our Champions League run in last year.
Fans getting to the ground hours before to cheer on the lads.
Why is that not happening now?
It should be like that every game.
We have some of the best fans, but also some of the worst.

First time I’ve ventured on since Monday and seems from this thread alone I made the right decision🤣. The fable chicken licken springs to mind for some reason 🤷‍♀️.

Hahahaha you and me both Ed mate, god knows what game we were watching.

Good reply Ed. I think our fans thought this is very good chance to widen the gap. But City somehow reduced. The fans are nervous. Its quite clear. Time for fans to get behind our team. We need to be loud in pitch and provide proper support to team rather than throwing towel already.

Ed001, good news is you only need to review the first half because the season was “all over” at half time 👍.

{Ed001's Note - I am still trying to find the right game to watch. All I can find is a 1-1 draw with West Ham and that can't be right can it??}

I know fans can be fickle but some on here just haven’t a clue on how to support a team properly it’s ment to be through thick and thin but jeez we still three points clear of one of the best and most expensive squads the premier league has ever seen and we are still ahead so all you negative cry babies grow up and cheer the team onwards

Up the pool.

grow up Ed001. why do you refuse to admit that we lost the game, the league, the season (despite us getting a 1-1 draw recently and still being 3pts ahead in the league)?

sarcasm aside, just as we could have been 7 pts ahead, we could also have been level with City at this moment if they haven't LOST to Newcastle (Yes, Newcastle, who had only recently got out of the relegation zone, who hardly score more than 1 each game, and have a team more suitable for the Championship than PL, that Newcastle) .

At the end of Dec, we were 4pts ahead, at the end of last rd, 5pts, currently, 3 pts. What it tells me is that it is going to be a tight race and we have to keep going, keep picking up points and hope that by the end of 38 games, we have at least 1 more point than 2nd. That will do for me.

Oh, and for the pundits and fans who are now saying City has the initiative now, because they are free scoring, they have the momentum, etc. i believe they LOST 3 game in Dec, and more recently to Newcastle, while they looked to be in free scoring mood and appeared invincible. So. how do we make sense of that?

I don’t care how many points we’re ahead or behind in February, just so long as we’re ahead on May 12th 👍.

flidby - you get a different cohort of fans going to champions league matches than you do premier league matches. Champions league matches are knockout so 1-1 means you’re right in the mix, in the league it’s seen as points dropped. We last won the CL in 2005 and have been to 2 finals since then, we last won the league in 1990.
The premier league means more to us as fans, it means you’re the best team in England over 10 months and 38 games. You can be the best in Europe and fail to win the knockout competition of the champions league. You can’t be the best team in England unless you win the league.
There is no lack of support at the moment, but fans generally seem to shake off the nerves when we go 2 goals up.

So what happened to "treat every game like it's a final"?
That is what we should be doing.
That's what Leicester did when they won the league.
It's what we need to do.
We're top!

Ed1, you mention of this 1-1 draw against West ham but when was this? 👀 We lost at weekend so wtf? Maybe i got abducted by aliens and I missed the game? I really have no idea but I thought we got a point from the game. Maybe I'm getting old (don't say a thing) lol.

{Ed001's Note - I am going to say nothing don't worry, though at your age you will forget what I said anyway within seconds of reading it!}

“So what happened to "treat every game like it's a final"? ”

Easier said than done mate. Anyway, we don’t have a good recent record in finals 😉.

Sorry Ed now I'm typing, what did you say mate? ;) bloody old age 😩.

{Ed001's Note - I was just asking if the aliens treated you well?}

Good thing you guys didn't see what was going on in the Live Chat, LOL, during that game. (Ed025 was there and can confirm it 😉) .

Ed01, when you see fans starting their SM posts with things like "The reason we lost this game" or "Klopp lost this game for us with. " or "Klopp has bottled the league after we lost this game. " then, you are right to question what reality you are living in.

I like you, am starting to wonder what dimension or planet I was when that WH game was being played cos I am pretty sure we drew (did not loose) and are still top (3 points over City) and there is still a long way to go (13 games left) even tho, the league is over and we bottled it (whatever the heck that means) .
