Nice read Ed, he seems to have all the attributes you'd want and you'd think he could be a good bench option for either LW or up front but it just hasn't seemed to click.

Unfortunately I don't think it'll happen for him at LFC unless he scores a bag load by the end of this season.

I remember Origi at a World Cup I think he looked so fast!
How has he lost he’s pace I don’t remember him having a major injury or is it a confidence thing?

I know what I meant Ed.

{Ed025's Note - im sure you do jonesy, the thing is that some supporters always think a tackle by an opposing player is assault while when one of their own do it its an acceptable tackle, its called red tinted glasses syndrome mate..

Origi's limitation seems to be game intelligence. His movement isn't clever enough to regularly trouble Premier League defenders, so he's relying on brute forcing them with pace and strength which doesn't always work.

That being said, I don't expect a bloke on the bench to be the complete package (or else why's he on the bench? ), so I'm a little disappointed I haven't seen more of him, even off the bench, since the Everton game. Especially considering that Sturridge is basically knackered at this point.

As for Funes Mori, he missed the ball by a mile and raked down onto a bloke's ankle. It was very clumsy and stupid, but tbf he's not the first to do that and won't be the last. What annoyed me (and would've annoyed me a lot more if I supported Everton) is he went off the pitch thumping the crest on his shirt like he was some sort of hero, instead of a berk who reduced his team to 10 men by being an idiot, and contributed to them getting a hiding from their bitterest rivals.

Good article Ed. He is certainly a frustrating player and still young, but will he get the game time he needs to really get going for us?

El hadj diof looked great at the world cup too I remember being excited about him coming thought he would be like a Ferrari on viagra and then him turning out to be more like a Lada with brewers droop.

Giblet, comparing Diouf to Origi is an insult to Origi. Origi proved himself and scored 23 goals for LFC in his time here. He was bossing CB's for fun and scoring goals to the point of putting Studge's arse on the bench. And then the dreadful tackle from the bitter Funes Muri happened and he has not been the same. Diouf did not even get half of that. He did make it up by the no. of times he spat at opposition fans, tho.
