Could be a shaky few games with Trent n Gomez missing and Milly out! Yeah we have fab but I don’t think klopp likes him as a rb and I don’t have fate in givin the kid Camacho a run in high pressure games talk about thrown into the deep end! Squeaky bum time is upon us so fingers crossed.

Didnt we chuck trent in for his debut in a big game? Against city or spurs or something? If i remember correctly he did well.

Leicester going to be a tough one as well. They have been awful in some games this season but seem to cherish and raise their game ten fold when playing the top teams. Will be interesting to see who partners Vvd at the back and who plays RB. Defensively we have been immense this season but it’s no coincidence that we conceded 3 last game with certain key defensive players missing.

Jdr, what some posters on here won't accept, is that the basis of our defensive strength was pace.
The first choice back four of TAA, Gomez, VVD and Robertson are probably the quickest back four in the PL.
Half of that unit is now out - Lovren and Milner / Fabinho are not in that class, pace-wise. Particularly at full back, where it’s much more vital.
Virtually all the Prem teams now have quick wide / front three attacks, built on counter attacking, and the loss of half your pace in the back four is a real concern.
Fabinho at full back, just forget it. He’s doing well where he is but don’t put him out there in a make shift back four.
If we have to, I’d play Camacho there. The holding midfielders, Van Dijk and Mane will have to help him out.
But we need Trent back, ASAP.

Does Lovren usually play right CB also?
That’s a new RB and maybe Lovren at right CB?
Three guesses where Leicester will be targetting?

Why all the negativity about facing Leicester at Anfield, even if we do have to field an inexperienced RB? They are 9th in the PL, they have lost 10 out of 23 games, they have conceded 29 goals in those 23 games and are 29 points behind us. We have not dropped a single point against a team from outside the current Top 5. Keep the faith lads!

Bit stupid loaning Clyne out.

Nothing stupid about loaning Clyne out, LFC08. Ed01 said Clyne has a wretched attitude and is not living the kind of lifestyle that a professional footballer should be leaving. Ed0333 said he is poants and has been stealing a living since he came here. Did I also mention that he is a poor defender? Clearly, you are open to keeping such an individual in the squad who could not be arsed to do the basics. The rest of us are not.

Now back to the debate, Our defence is walking wounded right now BUT as a team, our mentality and drive has not wavered. That is the thing that should comfort us all. City had injuries and lost to Palace. We had injuries and beat them. THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE. We stay together, fight for each other and don't give up, we will be okay, IMO.

"Leicester will target our right side". That is ONLY to anyone who does not understand football. Teams target other teams'percieved weaknesses all the time. LC would be stupid not to do that in this case. That is not news to anyone or do people think Klopp did not know that Milner would be targeted or that our right side would be targeted vs Leicester? It is up to him to find a system to minimize the threat and I am sure he will have a plan come Wed.

LC will be a tough game BUT what else is new? We should come to expect that now and our boys are fully aware and prepared for this test after all, we would not be where we are today w/ o that type of mentality. There is NOTHING to fear but fear itself. Up Da Pool!

Every win from now until May will be hard fought.
No team will give it away to us, every team wants a shot at the league leaders.
As RedWolf said, LC will be tough and what else is new?
