I know I'm going to be told to get over it, but just looking at City's line up, today, and yet another full strength side, playing Burnley at home.
Would be looking forward to making the trip down M54, to Shrewsbury, had we taken Wolves cup game with the respect it deserved.

Personally I’m very happy we’re in the CL and top of the PL and the lads are charging their batteries in Dubai. Good times!

{Ed001's Note - they are home mate and trained at Melwood yesterday.}

Istanbul I’d normally agree but frankly we would have been taking massive risk to play a full strength squad against wolves. our team was exhausted and depleted. Can you imagine if VVD had gotten injured or someone similar?

I couldn’t care less what Citeh do to be quite honest. I support Liverpool.

Well one thing about City that does concern us. Is the fact Peps teams are said to run out of steam but at this moment in time they are on a full set of team. We need to stay on our game as we cannot afford to slip up and increase pressure on ourselves.

Bobby, I follow us home and away, and have done so for over 40 years. I use City as an example because they are our nearest challengers, and are going for 4 trophies, yet still put out a strong side in cup competitions and risk injuries to key players in doing so.
I'm old fashioned and still believe the FA cup should be given 100%.

Yea but they can afford to spend 200 mil for players to sit on the bench that's why when they make changes it still looks like a strong side, not every team can afford to do that.

I get that Istanbul but I still don’t care what they do. Especially in a competition we are not in anymore. Let them risk injury to important players if they want.

Momentum is key, I don't see us beating Bayern without Van Dyke, and i also don't see us winning the league. City are just too good.

They don't have a weakened mate. If you are referring to our cup match vs wolves, we started 9 first teamers. Today City had D. silva, Aguero, Sane, Sterling and Laporte amongst their subs. There is no comparison mate.

Who care was team City puts out? Why oh why do people keep posting stuff that have to do with City? The City team have been built over the last decade or so with hundreds of millions of pounds and their squad so why is anyone surprised about the squad they have? Good Grief! Pep always plays his first choice players or at least a good number of them, in every game which is why they suffer burnouts at the business end of the season. Will that happen this season? No one really knows and we will have to see.

IMO, we need to move on with all this "City this, City that" crap. I have never cared about them nor what they did when they were ahead of us and I definitely won't start caring now when they are behind us. Whether they play before or after us, it still won't matter. Why? It all depends on US, not them.

Klopp has done a brilliant job in keeping our boys focused on one game at a time and I don't see that changing. The only way we were able to get ahead of City is cos they lost thier games (vs teams we beat or did not lose to) while we were winning our games and not bothering about them. If that keeps happening, the pressure will be on them. We move on to the next game and that should be the way to go.

We can now add talking about City to the list of what we are not allowed to mention on here to keep the snowflakes in check 🤦🏻‍♂️.

JK23, I gave an opinion as to why we should move on from always talking about City as it is not productive. No one is stopping you from posting about it. You are free to talk about whatever you like as I and anyone else, am free to to respond to it as I see fit. Peace and Love, mate!

History says that by the last day of the season, it is the team that has the most points that wins the title. The most points. Not the highest rated squad, not the most expensive squad, not the highest salaries and not the winningest manager or any other yardstick. People forget so easily and quickly; Leicester whacked everybody 2 seasons ago on their way to the title, and no yardstick could explain it except having the most points. 😏.
